    • Great bike with a few problems
I have owned the bike for a year, and have ridden it very often. This is a great bike, especially for a larger person. At 250lbs, I do not bog down the motor at all. The thing is build like a tank. I honestly have never seen a bike with the strength of build that does not have a motor on it. It has a very comfortable ride, though you should plan on replacing the saddle, as the one that came with it is not the best, at least for someone my size. I recommend unlocking the forks, as it really makes a difference. I have gotten the bike up to 37 MPH on the road. I usually use it on the trail, and in my state it meets the characteristic needed to ride on the trail. I do ride the trail on level 2, which caps out at around 18 MPH. With a couple of baskets, it is perfect for trips to the store. All that said, there are three problems. The biggest is that I can not get the battery out of it. Second, the battery charge level on the display is always at 100%. Lastly, mine came without hydraulic brakes. The brakes on it work fine, but they are not what was advertised. These cost the bike a star in my review. It would be two stars if I was not so happy with the bike in general. ... show more

    • Great Bike, worth every dollar and cent
I've been on this bike for over 1000 miles, going on 15 mile trips, sometimes almost daily. I absolutely love this bike. Biggest complaint I've got really is just that the battery needs to be upgraded and that the seat can get uncomfortable after a long period of riding.My rear fender did fall off an almost severely injure me by locking up under the rear tire after in completely snapping off. My battery died after 17 miles in, every single time. Its certainly a bike you'd rather ride standing up or replacing the seat with aftermarket ones. After I fixed all of that with a few changes, I loved it. I've owned this bike for over a year now, and this is the bike that made me enjoy ebikes. Now, I ride this more than I drive my car. But be aware, its not as advertised. You will probably only go 5 miles on just battery, and 15 miles on pedal assist. Also their support has been highly reluctant to help me with any repairs after purchase. ... show more

Update: they told me they were sending me a replacement battery (which they didn't, it's been months) just to have something on record in messages and then... Did NOTHING. My assurian claim was denied because a battery is apparently supposed to fail within 6 months of use- and when they reached out to Amazon to ask if they would cover as a courtesy (I was hoping they would, I'm a contractor who works for Amazon) they did not. Expensive e-bike, left sitting for a year- because if you don't want to buy a $400 battery after the fact, it's just a fat tire bike. Original review: I love this bike. It's amazing. My daughter and I love riding around our bike friendly town. However the battery failed on me, and I reached out to the seller (as it's still under warranty) and described the issue. The bike would power up, but immediately shut off after starting to ride. If I lifted the rear wheel it would accelerate. If I had the bike on the ground it would cut off immediately when you touched the throttle. I thought, maybe I didn't charge it properly. Then after a charge it wouldn't power the bike to even turn on the lcd screen. they informed me that I needed to have battery tested with a multimeter. I don't have a multimeter. I took my bike to the local ebike shop. The owner said that I perfectly load tested the battery, and now that it won't even power the bike the battery has failed. He said that a multimeter test tells you nothing about the battery's ability to handle load, and that to effectively test this he has to hook these batteries up to multiple space heaters- it's dangerous. He said that this practice is predatory and intended to defraud customers out of their warranties. After I told them this, they once again demanded a multimeter test. For a battery that is dead and has been assessed by a professional (I provided them the bike shop owners contact information so they could follow up regarding the assessment). I'm going to buy a multimeter to show them the battery is DEAD. But you should all know who you're dealing with before you buy from this seller. 2 year warranty means nothing when they never intend to uphold it. ... show more

Bike is very comfortable. I have it at the highest seat position but I fit large bikes. Accelerates and shifts smoothly. Could use a little more power on the hills so the 15 A version may be worth the extra money. Took some getting used to—slow acceleration from stop makes it safer but be ready when it kicks in. Rode for 4 hours on hilly terrain and still had plenty of charge. If you are still debating an ebike, give it up—they are a blast.     • Very sturdy bike
I use this bike to commute to work and run errands about 90% more than I use my car. It is my 2nd ebike. I thought the first one was great so i decided to upgrade. I haven't had any problems with this, not even a flat tire, in the first 4 months! It carrys my heavy weight (275 lbs) plus 2 -3 bags of groceries with no problem! The solid wheels (no spokes) is a HUGE plus for me. The headlight is brighter which makes me feel alot safer riding home at night during Daylight Savings Time. I love the dual shocks too! And the bike turns heads even here in San Jose where anything imaginable is seen on the streets. The media could not be loaded. PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS BIKE. The bike comes with metal spokes not alloy wheels as advertised also display is small and from previous model they will say it's an upgrade but it not also issues will occur after a month of riding and the support is horrible and don't rely on the A-Z guarantee the bike somehow don't qualify if you buy the M4 you will have one major problem once bike malfunction and it will that's a guarantee for you.😡 ... show more
