  • MEDIUM SIZE KILLING CONE (Up to 8 LBS) - Stop struggling with size anxiety. Our cones for butchering chickens design features a wider top opening and deeper depth specifically calibrated for broad breasted poultry, including chickens, large layers, broilers, boaster and turkeys. The secure fit prevents excessive struggling, ensuring a humane dispatch and preventing meat bruising during harvest.
  • PROFESSIONAL GRADE GALVANIZED STEEL (100% Rust-proof) - Don't let your investment rust away after one season. Our heavy duty steel that resists corrosion from blood and water, guarantees season-after-season durability. It is weather-resistant, and built to withstand the toughest outdoor farm conditions.
  • QUICK & EASY ASSEMBLY (Only a Phillips screwdriver needed) We value your time, so we kept the setup simple. Unlike complicated kits with vague instructions, our cone features precision pre-drilled holes for perfect alignment. All you need is a standard Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver to secure the included high-quality hardware. In just minutes, you will have a rock-solid, rigid unit that rivals the stability of welded models.
  • SAFETY HEMMED EDGES & 30-SECOND CLEANUP - Your safety is our priority. Top and bottom edges are professionally hemmed (rolled) to prevent cuts to your hands and damage to the bird's skin. The seamless stainless surface eliminates crevices where feathers typically hide, allowing you to wash and shine the cone in under 30 seconds.
  • VERSATILE MOUNTING For ANY BACKYARD SETUP Designed for flexibility in your processing area. Features a heavy-duty, pre-drilled mounting bracket compatible with walls, wooden posts, trees, or specialized kill stands. Whether you are processing a few backyard birds or managing a larger homestead harvest, this cone provides the stability you need for efficient workflow.

  • Sturdy, Practical, and Easy to Clean
This medium size chicken kill cone is exactly what I needed for humane and efficient poultry processing. The heavy duty metal construction feels solid and durable, and it easily handles chickens up to 8 pounds, including laying hens, broilers, and roasters. The flat back design is very convenient it mounts securely and keeps the cone stable during use, which makes the process much safer and smoother. ... show more

  • Did not come with hardware to assemble the sides together.
Color: 2-Pack Silver Number of Items: 2
I ordered two of these and it did not come with the small screws to assemble it together. I am thinking of either returning it or maybe just tack weld the sides together.

  • Good – Bring a File for Assembly! Good – Bring a File for Assembly!
Product Reviewed: Killing Cones for Chickens: Galvanized Steel Chicken Cone for Butchering, 100% Rust Resistance-8 Lbs Capacity-30 Seconds Clean Up - Turkeys Poultry Broilers Roasters Birds Duck Goose-3 Pack for $33. TL;DR; Shipped Flat Pack; Very sharp edges; Not quite as described or pictured. We have been doing hobby farming in recent years including some chicken processing. The kit seems fairly complete. The material appears to be brushed galvanized or zinc coated steel, highly magnetic. The Cones are created by 4 nearly identical pieces, only the keyhole cuts in the back piece is different. It’s assembled with four Phillips M4 screws and assembly is a bit tricky but the edge of a bench helps for the first couple of pieces. I’d suggest a magnetic tipped screwdriver. The factory packaging was minimal and was quite damaged by the time I got it home although there was not damage to the kit or other products during shipping. Flat pack steel is pretty tough. The kit includes three flat packs in plastic bags and three bagged screw kits including some large screws for mounting, everything needed except tools. The edges on the metal are razor sharp which contradicts the description. To me that’s a miss on execution and it contradicts the description. Before assembly you should take a file to all the edges and remove the razor sharp burr from all sides. These look like they will work perfectly and I doubt you could buy the steel for the price. The very sharp edges are dangerous though and I don’t like misleading descriptions. They are a good value but I have to rate these 3.5 stars for the misses. How I review: Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points. - 0 for value but I try to provide guidance -0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel -0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range. If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings. ... show more

  • Sturdy, Humane, and Built to Last – A Reliable Cone for Backyard Processing Sturdy, Humane, and Built to Last – A Reliable Cone for Backyard Processing
This medium-sized killing cone is well-designed for birds up to 8 lbs and works especially well for broad-breasted poultry, including broilers, large layers, roasters, and even smaller turkeys. The wider top opening and deeper cone provide a secure, supportive fit that minimizes excessive movement. That stability matters—not only for a more humane dispatch, but also to help prevent unnecessary bruising during processing. The construction stands out immediately. Made from heavy-duty galvanized steel, this cone is built for real farm conditions. It resists corrosion from blood, water, and outdoor exposure, so it won’t deteriorate after a single season. The rigidity once mounted feels solid and dependable, comparable to welded units when properly secured. Assembly is straightforward and refreshingly simple. The pre-drilled holes line up correctly, and with just a Phillips screwdriver and the included hardware, the unit can be mounted and ready in minutes. No guesswork, no complicated instructions. Safety details have clearly been considered. The hemmed (rolled) edges on both the top and bottom reduce the risk of cuts to your hands and prevent damage to the bird’s skin. Cleanup is fast thanks to the smooth metal surface—there are no tight seams or crevices for feathers and debris to get trapped. A quick rinse and wipe-down is typically all it takes. The mounting bracket is another strong feature. It’s versatile enough to attach to walls, posts, trees, or dedicated stands, making it adaptable whether you’re processing a few backyard birds or handling a larger homestead harvest. Overall, this cone delivers durability, stability, and thoughtful design in one practical tool. For anyone processing poultry at home, it’s a dependable piece of equipment that makes the job more efficient and controlled. ... show more

  • No Instructions No Instructions
UPDATE: After finagling with this more, I was able to figure out that since the screws weren’t sliding out, but the plates weren’t holding together, there must be a way this works. Again…no instructions, so winging it. you have to place the plates with the long part going into the other plate think male to female part. I don’t particularly like this as it leaves the jagged ends of the screws on the outside. I suppose this is to keep the jagged edges from getting the chicken, but at that point I think this is just a poor design. It wouldn’t be as bad if there were nuts. Do be careful, the metal edges are sharp and I cut myself on the wrist when sliding them apart. It’s still a little wobbly when I’m moving it around, but that doesn’t matter because it’s going on a post which will stabilize it. ————————————————- This was a disappointing purchase, but thankfully I’m still getting set up and don’t need this cone immediately. There were zero instructions, which I wasn’t worried about because it appears to be very straightforward setup. Too bad it doesn’t work. The frame doesn’t stay together because once you screw them in place, the other plate just pops off. The screw holes are too big is my only guess, and no way to close the plates together without a nut for the screw. If you have a nut to fit these tiny screws, this wouldn’t be a problem. The screws don’t go anywhere, but they won’t keep the plate together because the other plate is too big. I’m not sure if this is a manufacturing error, but they just slip apart. ... show more

  • Nice cone that has a stainless steel look to it
Overall, this cone is nicely built. Putting it together wasn’t difficult. I did it in 10 minute without instructions (just looking at the picture). Can be a little difficult for first time people. Medium sized cone that will work for all the poultry I have to process. It’s a simple functional cone. You can’t go wrong with it. Compared to my other cones, it’ll definitely server its purpose. I like these better than some black painted ones I got a while back. These won’t chip like the others. I’m not sure if it’s stainless steel but it has that look to it which I prefer. They are on the thinner side when compared to my other cones but it’s not a deal breaker. It actually helps with weight. Some of my cones are heavy. This is light and easy to move around. It’s winter right now so you won’t catch me outside processing chickens LOL. I have no doubt this will get the job done. ... show more
