For those purchasing the ‘Dark Green’ set, please note that they are not a true dark green hue, (like a rich Hunter Green would be considered,) these lamps are more of a medium Sage Green in tone. That said, they’re really nice and quite aesthetically pleasing. The finish of the lamp base is glossy so during the day it reflects natural light from my nearby windows well, they look great as mid-sized accent lamp. The lampshade provided for the ‘Dark Green’ option I chose isn’t a stark white, it’s a soft tone somewhere between white and linen, not really any gray hinted tones in it, which was appreciated. The lampshades themselves do need assembly though, it was really simple enough to do and I’ve just tucked the velcro seam of the shades towards the back of the lamp so that they’re hidden from view…no one would ever know the shades were velcro’d unless they were intentionally searching. ... show more

Purchased these lamps for my guest room because of the design and the price point. I was surprised by the packaging but it was fairly simple to assemble the shades. It works perfect on the night stand. Cord length was perfect. Would recommend if you are looking for quality with a fair price point.

The quality for price of this lamp is amazing. I'd give it 4.75 stars! It feels substantial, great texture and color. Perfect size. I have 2 PB lamps in the adjacent room (3 or 4 times the price) - and I like this lamp as much. The only thing I'd criticize is that the little clips on the frame show through the shade. Easily replaced and I may do this later - but I'm not sure the casual observer would notice. Thoroughly recommend this lamp ... show more

What a nice surprise that two nice lamps fit in such a compact box! I was skeptical that they’d look anything like the photos in the ad, but we unboxed them anyway and quickly appreciated both the excellent packing and the nice design of these lamps. Easy to assemble in a few minutes. The shades are unlike any I have seen before in that the fabric is packed in such a way that it has no creases and simply clips onto the top and bottom frames. The beige and white looks nice in our room and provides good lighting on the nightstand. For the price, these are a great deal.
