Was very pleasantly surprised. These are so thin compared to regular Poise 4 I didn’t believe they could possibly work as well. I have given these and the Always 4’s a real workout since I have been sick with a respiratory infection. As many of you ladies can attest, a severe cough puts any incontinence pad to the test. Both worked extremely well. I usually just use liners during the day with heavier pad at night. (Sleeping isn’t the problem, getting up is!). I ordered Poise pads #4 (surge) for bladder control. This is also what the label on the package says, but the pads are indeed thinner, or do you mean more narrow? I am hoping that the material inside the pad is more absorbent and that is why the pad is "thinner" because it is also not as thick. If these don't work as well as the old style I will be embarrassed as well as angry. Perhaps in the future packaging, you could be more explicit. update! These pads are way better than I thought. First of all they are far more absorbent, a fact that you folks never mentioned. Secondly they are more comfortable because they are both thinner (which I thought might be an absorption problem) and they are narrower. However, they rip apart the pull ups that they are supposed to adhere to. The pad is so absorbent that it can be thrown out and the pull up doesn't need replacement, but after a few pad replacements I was left with a destroyed pull up. Please go easy on the glue! I now rate it a 4 star! ... show more

I've used incontinence pads for many years & I've tried all the brands. These are my favorite brand as they are comfortable, & hold alot of urine. If a large quantity of urine comes out all at once they will over-flow onto underwear & then jeans/pants. Occasionally will tear when pulled off leaving a strip of glue and plastic behind which sometimes can be very hard to remove. But I've found that after the underwear is washed, and when its still wet straight out of the washer the remaining plastic can be easier to remove. ... show more

This is a thin version of the moderate pad. It is not "long". I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I found a smaller box version at a big box store and was so happy to find the 60 count version on Amazon. This is not a super absorbent pant, but is better than light. If you need super absorbent pads, then get the thick night time pads. I hope I never get to that point. I love the comfort of a thinner pad and the next time I buy, I hope the pads are the same! ... show more

This pad is the worst..it should not be described as moderate absorption because it is not..who ever in your marketing company convinced you guys to sell this as an ultra thin moderate absorption pad should be fired...this ultra pad is awful...get rid of it...this pad is a big lie!!!!!!!!!! I do have bladder problems and these have helped so much. I don't understand the low rates but this to me was even better then the ones I bought at the store. This pad doesn't have wings but something else (hard for me to describe) but it keeps the flow from going out on the sides. I find them very comfortable like I am wearing nothing at all.
