This dress saved me. I had less than a week before an event and not only did it come on time, I was able to order a smaller size which came in under 48 hours. The dress is comfortable, decently made, and above all, REALLY flattering. It’s not too matronly bc the beading pattern is more funky and stylized. I am long wasted, so the belt didn’t work around my waist but I cut it in half and used as ankle ties it to keep my satin sling backs on my feet! Genius. The only ding was the much mentioned under arm rub from the sequins there. That’s real, and painful by nights end. I wonder if there is some topical balm that could prevent chafing. Honestly even with that this dress is fabulous and I would definitely order it in another color and put them on rotation for black tie events. ... show more

This is a very pretty dress and fits great! I did order one size down as suggested in reading some of the reviews and there is still enough give. I may have to shorten a bit as my shoes aren't quite tall enough. I plan to omit the ribbon belt to elongate my figure better.
