Features

  • Powerful yet ultra-quiet: This 1/5 horsepower airbrush compressor delivers excellent power with approximate air delivery of 1.0 CFM, with an advanced, precision-forged piston for very little noise (55 dB). Oil-less design makes this conveniently portable compressor suitable for food decorating and body/nail art along with all other standard airbrushing applications.
  • Smooth, precise air output: A sensitive pressure regulator with integrated gauge and water-trap allows precise adjustment and control of airflow to deliver clean, dry air
  • Constant pressure with zero pulsation: Air is drawn from the large, 3-liter (0.8 gallon) air storage tank, providing constant, regulated pressure and smooth output. This eliminates the pressure pulsations common with tankless compressors.
  • Power-saving mode: Compressor features on-demand operation with preset, automatic turn on and turn off. It runs until pressure reaches approximately 58 psi, then cycles off until the pressure drops to 40 psi, when the unit restarts. This power-saving feature reduces motor wear while maintaining enough pressure to operate most airbrushes.
  • Includes 7 bonus airbrush guides: As a bonus, includes access to 7 exclusive e-Book airbrushing guides: Top 8 Cake Airbrushing Tips, Guide to Airbrush Cake Decorating, Developing Basic Artistic Skills, 10 Essential Airbrushing Tips, Airbrushing Strokes and Techniques, Airbrush Cleaning Manual, and the Airbrush Lettering Guide

  • I just needed a tank...
I had a Master compressor but wanted to add a tank. This set was just a bit more expensive and now I've a tank and an extra compressor. Got it setup and running in minutes. Been working great ever since.

  • Used one before and this one meets my needs for painting miniatures
Great for airbrushing and the tank does matter, so the engine does not over work and become too hot in long painting sessions.

  • Works well
After letting it run for a minute to build up it works well

  • Excellent compressor for the money
Excellent compressor for the money, the only thing to worry about is getting the proper adapter for a standard airbrush hose ($8), as others have mentioned. Otherwise, very smooth air pressure, everything works correctly, and other than being a tad noisy for my tastes (I used to use a CO2 tank-dead silent!) this is a good piece of gear for anyone other than a full-time professional airbrush t-shirt artist. To be clear, the noise isn't that bad, maybe low 50s decibels, about the same as traffic passing outside your window. The regulator works fine and seems accurate and consistent, and I haven't had to empty the moisture trap yet, but it seems well thought out and assembled. A good buy at $100, excellent at $75! ... show more

  • Great Value - Noisy For Being Quiet
Great value, does the job well but is noisy relative to others (but more expensive) I’ve used.

  • Don't get "steamed up" over your work, buy this compressor!
No, I didn't purchase this air compressor for the purpose of painting cakes, aircraft models, or pretty girls. I happen to enjoy working with live steam engines and their accessories. So that I don't have to light off the boiler each time I want to operate them, I have found that I can hook a low-powered air compressor to the steam line and use the compressed air (about 30psi) to run my engines. This gives me the enjoyment of the systems, but I don't have to build up the steam, run the engines, and then clean up the leftovers. It also means that I am able to make the many adjustments necessary to keep the engines running without cooking me pinkies. A much more favorable outcome, I will say! Although I guess that steamed digits is part of the fun of running a live steam engine. This compressor is just perfect for this job. It is definitely the quietest compressor of any size I have ever operated. And with the reserve tank on it, it maintains the pressure I need for 20 or more minutes with no problem at all. So, if you don't want to get all "steamed up", buy this compressor. It works for me! ... show more

  • A great low-cost generic AC/T unit. Don't get the older generic version under many names.
These AC/T units are pretty much the same across several brands. Other than the color, maybe a different regulator, or an add-on brush holder and even covering it with a metal box. There are two generic types, this one with the pipe curving down the side into the tank - compared to the older generic design with the air pipe coming off the back and straight down into the tank. The cheaper/older generic has problems with cut-offs working correctly and a cheaper regulator. Pay the extra $10~15 for this version. It's noticeably quieter. the light-up power switch comes in handy. The tank is worth having. Yes its a little bigger, but for your air-brush, the air-flow is better and the compressor doesn't need to always run when you're using the brush. This brand unit does not include a hose, but then again - it may not fit your brush anyway. Go with the best price and this ZeroPoint tends to be others. ... show more

  • Not the compressor I expected but the one i needed
So I just recieved this little compressor today. First let me say the shipping was amazingly quick. I got this the very next day when I expected it a week a later. Next the product itself. I had already had to return a similar model from another company. As soon as I opened the box I could tell this was different. Looks like it was just pulled off the line. Taking it out supported this. The compressor was redesigned and actually better put together. The parts were flush the fittings tight but easily assembled. The motor showed more up todate configuration with the power button now lighting to show it is on. A cooling fan installed with a larger tank. This was the model i wanted. I hooked it up with my airbrush hose. This model did not include one but loses no points because i have many to spare. I didn’t have to wrap any of the screws for a sealed connection. The hose went on smoothly as if lubricated. This is always a sign of good craftsmanship. I turned it on and waited. I set the air pressure low and just as it reached pressure it stayed on just enough to fill it’s reserve and off. Let me say even running it’s quiet. My electric razor makes more noise. But it’s also got a nice setting of when to kick on when out of air and it refills quickly. This was the compressor I needed. The last one I had failed just about all these measures causing a return. This one succeeds and surpasses. So yes buy it for your art modeling or whatever. Don’t expect to run a air tool but everything will be just fine. ... show more
