I installed this in my explorer that wasnt smart at all. It has made a world of difference when it comes to music and navigation. My only complaint was i cant get the radio to work. I dont know if its user error or something wrong with the item. The camera is a nice and clean picture. The bracket for the camera started to rust and fall apart and when i got ahold of the seller they were very nice and worked quickly to get me a replacement.     • Really Nice Unit
So, another terrific unit from Podofo. I have an older pickup truck with a simple OEM car stereo. Yet, most of today's music comes from streaming (phone, Spotify, Sirius XM, etc...). This unit was easy to install, has a solid bluetooth connection, and looks great. I can easily run the audio from the unit(coming from my phone) right through the car speakers by tuning the unit's fm audio-out channel to one of the unused fm channels on my car stereo. This worked great and was easy. My ONLY criticism is that I wish the unit allowed for multiple users(bluetooth connections in its memory) so that my wife and I could seamlessly go back an forth using the truck and this new toy! ... show more

    • Great CarPlay Option!
I first saw an ad for this on Facebook and came over to Amazon and it's less than half price what they were offering. Really great price on these for what you get. It's not perfect but I'm very impressed so far. Would be nice if they had a suction cup option for mounting rather than the heavy duty sticky tape. So far it's working flawlessly with no issues. I like that it powers up instantly once I enter the car, it must sense somehow that the power has been activated when I open the door. It doesn't seem to have the same "intelligence" about shutting down though. I turn the car off and exit, lock the doors, but the screen is still on. I've waited up to 5 mins and it never turns off. No biggie having to manually turn it off, but I'm hoping I don't forget to turn it off one day and come back to a dead battery in my car from the power drain. One other thing, I aleady have a rear camera built into my car, so I didn't need the included camera. Turns out I discovered after the fact there's an option without the camera for about $10 less. Wish I had seen that before ordering, but no biggie. Just be careful to get the right version for what you need in your car. ... show more

This thing is awesome! It is super slick, not too tall so it doesn't obstruct the views out of my window. It boots right up every time, and automatically connects to my phone without issue. The screen is nice and bright when needed, and auto dims as well! Everything you need is included in the box, and the rear camera is incredibly sharp! The system works well, the screen is a good size. All the apps work fine the only thing I didn’t like was the cords hanging down. They have to connect to the cigarette charger, And the audio. I did a lot of research before I bought this unit and I am not disappointed at all. Nice bright clear screen, Understated aesthetics and overall excellent performance. Use it every day driving for Lyft. Sometimes it takes a second to reconnect to the phone but a toggle of the car play setting on the handset or a reboot of the display solve it every time. My only complaint (more like a back handed compliment) is that if I don’t power down the display my phone will connect to it from inside the house. Only would be a problem if you have a car like mine (Tesla) that doesn’t turn off or if your 12v outlet has power after you turn off your ignition. Pretty impressive range for the wireless connection from the display. I didn’t use the backup camera- no advantage and extra work for a car that has more than adequate functionality in this department. ... show more

I am enjoying the unit. The camera is clear and easy to install and the response is fast. I wish there was a way to turn down the boot up tones, it's pretty loud! The Bluetooth connection drops often on my AndoidAuto, maybe a firmware update? But I can't find anything on the Podofo site to update it. Any help would be appreciated. ... show more

I purchased this to replace my cars old system. This device connects to my existing Bluetooth. You get some decent sound quality. I use it with my android phone so far no complaints. I'm planning on trying to email the company about doing updates. I would like to see better instructions.
