Personally, if you can afford it, I would recommend you spring for 16gb anything. Aside from that fairly common knowledge this thing holds with my 5070 playing Helldivers 2. The PC it is in has slower RAM, less RAM, a slower CPU and both have matching monitors and this one seems to run slightly better, but I also have the setting s a little lower. The truth is I don't really notice a difference in the image quality. The most important thing for me on that game is rendering distance so I can snipe the Automaton bases across the map from an elevated position. It runs relatively quiet and cool. No issues with temps inside the case and I can't hear this computer over my other one. The video card is sleek and runs well on my new modular Thermaltake 850w, which is kind of overkill. For what I plan to continue using this for (secondary computer for playing two games at once) this is a good video card that should hold me over a few years while HOPEFULLY prices stabilize. ... show more

*Mid 2026 update- Writing this prior to the 16gb release, I thought an update worthy. If you can pick up a 16gb model for just 100 bucks or so more, it’s worth considering just for future proofing. Beyond that everything below still holds and any more cost difference, you might as well go up a model.* It’s hard to dispute this thing being a pretty good deal. As long as you don’t need the vram it’s 30% less expensive than the 12gb models but they don’t perform 30% better. Bought this for the kiddos rig playing at 1440, mostly trailmakers, Minecraft, forza and plants vs zombies and he has never saturated the vram. PNY always seems to build quality stuff and even at full tilt in a NUC it is running cool. The power plug isn’t recessed, so it was a tight fit, but still this size made it in a really compact setup. Graphics quality, speed and stability these are hands down the best price to performance short of the used market. ... show more

We upgraded my Son's gaming computer with this graphics card and a larger power supply (700Watt). We had no issues with the upgrade and my Son is screaming along at hundreds of frames-per-second at 1080p gaming resolution. This was a great value for the price paid.
