I recently tried out the ARCCAPTAIN Flux Core Welding Wire for a series of DIY welding projects, and I was quite pleased with the results. This wire works really well with my Lincoln welder, making it a great choice for various mild steel tasks. One of the things I really like about this wire is how smoothly it feeds through the welder. This makes a big difference, especially when working on longer welds. The bead quality is excellent, and it produces a consistent, clean weld with minimal spatter, which means less cleanup afterward. Using it for some mild steel repairs and small fabrication projects, I found it performed admirably. The welds were strong and looked professional, even without any gas shielding. The convenience of gasless welding is a huge plus for me, as it simplifies the setup and makes outdoor welding much easier. On the downside, it does produce a bit more smoke than solid wire with gas, but that's to be expected with flux core wire. As long as you have good ventilation, it's not a big issue. ARCCAPTAIN Welding wire works awesome, I tried several different brands including one of the top brands which price is ridiculous compare to this product. Price in unbeatable and quality in my opinion is slightly above most top brands. i highly recommend it. I'll post some pics and videos next time.

Best flux core welding wire Ive used. Comes in durable foil package to keep dirt and water out. This wire feeds smoothly all the way till the end of spool. I go back and forth between the .030 and .035 size wire and can't tell much difference in them but use the .030 for the thinner stuff and .035 for the thicker stuff. this is the best value on flux wire that I have seen. ... show more

Great stuff. Great price. $100 cheaper than Lowe’s. It says less spatter and I agree. You be the judge. I’m not a welder so don’t trash my work, nobody is paying me for it. lol. The spool feels a little sloppy in my Lincoln promig 140 but it rolls like it should so that’s all that matters.
