Good value to replace onboard graphics , but no low profile bracket included!
Style: V5
I bought the v5 version for $72, which was a great price, but it didn't include the low profile bracket that was supposed to be included as per the product description. In fact, the sealed PNY box included the video card and not so much as a single sheet of paper with quick install instructions or a driver disk or anything. It literally was a video card in a protective plastic clamshell within the box and there was absolutely nothing else in the box. It isn't worth me sending it back for them to simply send me another with no bracket so I have ordered a low profile bracket from a 3rd party for around $7 that will hopefully fit. This increases the price to $79 which is still around $5 less than the next least expensive gt 1030 that I could find. I definitely find the situation irritating that the description is incorrect. As for the card itself, I removed the large bracket and went ahead and installed it in my preowned Dell Optiplex 790. It does fit in the small form factor with no issues and will be fully secured once I receive the proper low profile bracket. The PC I installed this video card on has an old i5-2400 processor and 8gb of ddr3 1333 ram installed. I installed Windows 10 and Tomb Raider (2013) from my Steam library. Prior to installing the video card, on low settings at 1080p, the Tomb Raider benchmark reported an average FPS of 6. That isn't a typo. The onboard graphics were terrible. After installing the PNY GT 1030 V5, on normal settings at 1080p the benchmark is a rock-solid 60fps. This isn't a powerful gaming card, but it is a fairly economic replacement for onboard graphics on older machines. My primary gaming pc has a gtx 1050ti which is a much better low end gaming option, but for an ultra low budget build it is a competent card for light gaming needs. I tested it for a couple of hours playing the Witcher 3 and it was able to handle the game without any hitching or stutters. With this card you should be able to play most modern games and have a reasonably good experience, but you won't typically be able to use max settings and you may need to adjust some settings per game in the Nvidia control panel. Make sure you download the Geforce Experience application onto your PC and use it to download and install your driver, since the box doesn't include any software. For $72 this little card is more capable than I was expecting and it definitely provides a good value for the price. I would rate this at 4 stars if it had included the low profile bracket as per the item description.

Boy I hate this video card drought.
Style: V5
I paid waaaaayy too much for this thing. 6 months ago I paid $50 less for a fanless GT1030 (and only $50 more for a GTX1650 Super OC). THIS IS NOT A $129 CARD! But it's also about the cheapest one I could find. And like my GTX1650, it came in the ultimate of generic packaging. It also doesn't have a low profile bracket - which I knew about before I bought it. What I didn't like was the fact that the screw wasn't in the bracket, and one of the retention fittings was loose -- as if someone had taken the card, tried a bracket they already had, and when that didn't work, sent it back and it got resold to me. It works, as well as a GT1030 can work (and it does have GDDR5 memory in it), just wait for a better price drop.

Resurrected an old office PC (NO LOW PROFILE BRACKET)
Style: V5
This card is a safe and cost effective way to upgrade your video card WITHOUT having to change out your power supply. I use this for remote learning/teaching, music, Youtube videos, light gaming (mostly retro) and watching movies. The old video card was a GeForce 710. The 1030 is Night and Day. Everything loads so much quicker. Multiple tabs open, with camera on, showing Youtube videos...NO LAG! LIKE OTHER USERS STATED: NO LOW-PROFILE BRACKET INCLUDED! I was able to take the one off the old video card. My Machine: Dell Optiplex 7010 Windows 10 500 Gb Samsung EVO 860 solid state hard drive CPU: Intel I5 3.4 Ghz 16 Gb RAM

Good enough to play Madden 22 online and record games
Style: V3
I installed it in a new Dell desktop with an 11th gen i-7. Good enough to play Madden 22 online via Origin and record the games as well.

Huge upgrade over Dell's stock integrated graphics card
Style: V5
August 2021: Upgraded my daughter's Dell Optiplex 990 SFF with this graphics card, a 500GB SSD, and a 27" Dell monitor. Couldn't be happier with the overall results. This computer is used for school projects only, so no gaming feedback is available. Zero problems with compatibility.

Awesome
Style: V3
I purchased the PNY GeForce GT 1030 2GB, Graphic Card to replace my old AMD Radeon 6450 card. It had lasted through two computers and worked great for my needs. I use my Samsung 55" LED television as my monitor. I'm not a gamer but we do stream a lot of movies and television. I started getting a total green screen with the AMD. I researched and tried all the fixes without any success. Finally broke down and purchased the PNY graphics card. The color is awesome even on my nine year old LED TV. I can't say how it would do for gaming.

value depends on what you need
Style: V2
i built a budget gaming pc... my monitor runs on native 1366x768 @ 60Hz resolution.. my motherboard is old and cheap, not even including usb 3.0 or hdmi port... so to upgrade my older mobo, i had to find a single slot low profile pcie card that left enough space to allow me to install a pcie usb 3.0 card... yes, if i had newer mobo with modern features i could have spent an extra $20 to $40 and gotten a much more powerful video card, but i didn't need much because all i do with my pc is watch youtube videos and play emulators... this video card indeed fit the bill and i highly recommend it for someone who needs a budget friendly video card for low demanding gaming

no low-profile bracket
Style: V5
I had to modify the original grid bracket (by twist-to-break each bar) just so there was SOME semblance of support. It certainly doesn't hold like a solid piece that's screwed to the card would do, but it's better than nothing. I might also put a wood post between the heat sink and the power supply below it, just for some gravity-support. It's not a heavy card, but since there's no true stabilizing bracket, I don't want to stress the card's contact points. That all being said, runs as expected. Keeps decent temps, both ports work, card itself is indeed formed for a slim case. Not a bad card at all, just not 100% compatible with slim cases as advertised....
