These rod holders are awesome! Hands down best ones we have found. My husband ordered the first set and let me just say...we have literally used them everywhere! On our pond prowler, on rails (round or squared) and even on the bed of our truck. They hold little crappie poles, bass poles, and bigger catfish poles! So easy to mount and secure tightly on and take back off. Being able to rotate them in any direction is such a nice feature. I like that you can either just sit the pole in there or securely lock your pole in.. ya know, for those times when you haven't had a bite in FOREVER and you finally get busy doing something else, and BAM! get a bite.. lol I can promise, if its locked in that pole is not going anywhere! Works awesome i have put 12ft surf rods in them and withstood a 6ft sturgeon yanking on it with hard drag. I expected them to just work for smaller rods but exceeded my expectations when i put my 12ft rod on it and a sturgeon yanking on it so definitely worth it if you value your rods

These are amazing in my opinion with only one draw back. The handle for tightening needs to be replaced with a welded piece. Both of mine have stripped and I had a bit of a time removing them once I had them mounted to the railing. I’m waiting for a welder to fix them myself but this is seriously the only downside to the build quality everything else has worked fine. ... show more
