I installed 9 post within half an hour I have a husky who is a very stubborn he learned how to jumó the fence about a year ago my parents olan was to install wood fence panels high enough for him not to jump which is why I never thought about buying these obviously hasn’t happened and I don’t like to tie him up we have a very huge yard but I have to limit him because the width of the yard is shorter then the length so he jumps on the sides with his yard lead still attached and he some how manages to rip and break throw any lead I have bought him so I very much have high hopes for this product I am definitely gonna make another purchase just so I can complete the yard and will be installing chain fence to the post as well as a privacy screen cause nosy neighbors I will be updating my review once everything is installed and could leave a video review if anyone is interested. Lastly I saw a review on how the post didn’t fit around their existing fence and that there was a huge gap but that was the case with me but common sense just tighten the bolts with caution do t use a heavy hand cause it can break its a two concept thing the metal snap clip welded onto the actual post that gives length so again men boys use a light hand when tightening the bolts!!!

Have a jumper dog, for reasonable price extended existing chin-link fence to 6 feet high. Easy to install, buy yourself a bunch of 8" zip ties to secure new fence to these post. Make sure you measure the top bar of your chain-link fence, these fit 1 3/8" bars, there are some fences with thicker top bars. Supports did not move or rotate when tightened down. Should have ordered more in that the fencing we bought could still bend between these supports, unfortunately Amazon ran out. Best price, other brand wanted more $$ + shipping for less posts.

We got a puppy, the puppy grew to be very big and tall. We realized we need a new/taller fence as she enjoys running up to it to greet passers by and just leans on the top of the fence, like an old timey Wild West bartender offering a sasparilla. Alas, fence couldn’t be installed for a few months (months!!) so after some googling we picked up these extenders and used some chicken wire/wire fencing (which we attached with zip ties to the posts) and within an hour had an extension that harmlessly prevents her from hanging over the fence. Installation was super simple- I’d also picked up some extenders from a local store, but we’d have to remove caps and fence pieces to put them on. The ones from Amazon fit easily around the top bar of the fence and just screwed close around it- simple and sturdy. 10/10 recommend.

I am adding an extension at the top of my 4' chain link fence to keep my newly adopted pit mix from jumping over, which he did right after he was neutered. I don't like that the top rale of my fence keeps turning from the weight of the extensions with the chicken wire I put up on it. I don't have a pic of that yet. I wanted to put the extensions at a 45 degree angle, but they won't stay from the weight. I don't know how to correct this issue yet and had no idea these would do that. Frustrating. But the product is very strong and easy to put on.

I used these along one side of my fence to keep my dog from climbing over. They worked great! I also tried to use green plastic fencing along the top and used metal zip ties to attach it along the top of the chain link which worked for a few days until my dog started chewing through the plastic. I took the plastic down and used metal hardware cloth and that worked much better and my dog is 100% contained in my yard now. Halfway through this process, my dog started climbing a different section so I needed just two additional extensions and bought them from another seller but they were way way different and did not work at all so I had to buy another set up these even though I only need two. Oh well at least I know they are quality and will work as intended.

My husky kept jumping our 4ft fence so we got this to extend the height. Worked so well! Our husky has stayed contained and saved us the expense of having to install a whole new fence. Only piece of advice is to be 100% sure where you want to place the posts. Had to redo a couple and once on, they don't like to come off. Which is a good thing!

If you're looking for fence extentions, these are probably what you should buy. They are very well made and they will stay at whatever angle you need them to. I saw similar products for less money but you get what you pay for and you will only have to buy them one time. Fast standard shipping. A couple tips: 1) I used lubricant spray on the brackets when fitting them over my fence top rails and it seemed to help. 2) Once you fully tighten these in place, it's extremely difficult to pull them back off, so get it right the first time. 3) Best to use a barrier that the wind can pass through (vs. a solid sheet) because if you catch too much wind, the extentions may move/fall. 4) As a general rule, you can space these out between 3-4 feet, depending on the firmness & weight of the barrier you're using or if you have a gate(s) to deal with.

Works great and seems to be good quality. No issues putting this up to make fence taller to prevent my dog from jumping over the fence. Pricey tho. Can make yourself for fraction of the price but have no wielding tools.
