Love this whimsical bench! It makes me smile when I see it in my garden. I looked for months for an affordable metal bench that wasn’t the usual so it would also be art in the garden bed. The only thing I didn’t like was some of the the construction. I had some poor welding joints in a couple places. They are holding for now and are not weight bearing places. Also the paint rubs off fairly easily. But I figure I can spray some rustoleum when it is time to fix that problem. I loved it too much to send it back. For now it is beautiful and a perfect comfy place to see the garden and the sunset. Update. I did end up spraying it with yellow paint and then a uv inhibiting spray. Super easy. Did several other metal garden spray projects at the same time. No more paint rubbing off. Still holding up great. Love it. Had many compliments on it. ... show more

Love the bench and how it looks in my front yard. The color really spruces up my drab yard. The assembly was tricky and instructions were vague but easy to figure out. Putting the wings on the back was hard but I was able to do it with a rubber mallet to help align the holes better to the screws. If you find yourself having a hard time still try loosening some screws instead of keeping it tight to allow more give in aligning the screws. Cute. Needs a cushion and pillow to make it comfortable. 40x17 bench size. Fun design. Paint comes off when putting it together, so used a clear rustoleum spray paint to keep from rusting out. Make sure all welds are facing the back or underneath. Use real tools if you have them. The One it comes with didn’t work well. Seems solid. Would of like some rubber washers. Nice statement piece for a butterfly garden area. Will see how it holds up. ... show more

This bench is adorable! The one I received had a few nicks on the paint (which will have to be touched up so the spots won't rust outdoors) and something was bent that made it difficult to attach the wings to the seat. After attaching the first bolt, the other two wouldn't line up. Fortunately I was able to force it without breaking any welds. I don't think any of this would have happened if the bench would have been packed a little better. This is the reason for four stars instead of five. I really like the bench shape and color; it is comfortable with the addition of pillows. One of the wings was defective; there was no way to attach it to the middle part of the back. I contacted Amazon who contacted the seller who agreed to replace the defective wing. I did receive the replacement in a timely manner and the bench looks great in my back yard. ... show more

This was as advertised! Although the directions are minimal, it was easy to figure out. It’s very sturdy. It’s easy to chip the paint. Also, a cushion is needed to really sit comfortably. A bit expensive but unique.
