I've had the Plotanis 12 Inch Wine Cooler Refrigerator 18 Bottles Wine Fridge for about five months now and I can tell you that I find it very useful for wine and other chilled beverages storage. Throughout the summer I kept bottles of whites, roses, and champagne chilled to about 44 degrees. By the way, I found that the bottom shelf was the best place for champagne bottles but you can only get two bottles on the shelf due to the shape of the bottles. Also, when I first loaded up the cooler I didn't realize the depth of the shelves so I mistakenly thought I could only get two wine bottles per shelf. Actually, by placing the two outer bottles with the cork facing front and the third middle bottle with the cork facing inward, you can easily load up three standard 750ml bottles per shelf. Anyway, the unit is very stylish, has worked flawlessly so far, and is a great addition to your home if you are serious about keeping your wine at the proper serving temperature. Now that autumn is upon us, I think I may change up the inventory to Pinot Noirs and other reds (and raise the wine cooler temperature to about 55 degrees) and see how that works out.

Inconsistent temps and the shelves don't slide smoothly. It looks really nice and fits well in my bar area. But honestly it's a touch overpriced but is still very functional.

Gorgeous wine fridge that is just the size I’ve been looking for. It slides perfectly underneath a standard height countertop and holds 18 bottles of wine. Very efficient at keeping wine at the proper temperature and it runs quiet. Love it!

This is a good looking cooler. We don’t drink wine that much but we love cold drinks in general, so this is cool. We put it in our game room. It looks good, seems well-made, and keeps our drinks cold as it should. The blue accent light gives it a really cool appearance we think. Easy setup and easy to use. The thin aspect of it helps it fit right in in our game room without being in the way.

The Wine Refrigerator by Plotanis, is a versatile and efficient unit that keeps things supercool, provides an attractive appearance and can be used virtually anywhere. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and a few things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It’s a very nice quality unit that shows in the beautiful appearance, operation and feel. I’d put this one in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for wine coolers and guess it should last me for quite a while, assuming the electronics survive. II. Performance – Its worked really well by providing a constant 39 degrees that is well sealed to hold it in, has quite operation when needed and a gentle ambient blue light. The stainless streel is very attractive, good quality and will fit either built in or freestanding. It can accommodate up to 18 bottles of wine if stacked correctly or 12 sitting in the racks. It also works great for many other beverages that could benefit from this temperature. It’s a great bonus for me to have the lock and almost worth getting just for that. Overall, this is a great choice that has provided me super cool beverages on demand with great capacity, looks and performance to constantly keep me happy. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
