Lots of research before purchase. So many units, options, sizes! A bit OCD for a novice wine connoisseur. In short, easy setup out of the box, quick no issue start up, very quiet. Minor damage to packaging but product well protected. Hinge screw cover and adjusting leg loose but easily found. Trying to decide between single or dual zone, compressor or thermoelectric power. Liked flexibility of dual zone but maybe overkill for my collection and anticipated length of storage. Did like the full range temperature adjustment for both zones for more flexibility to which zones you use for your varieties. Many other units temperature adjustment ranges dictated which zone to keep wines at a warmer setting. And sometimes seemingly conversely, cold on top, warm on the bottom. Went with compressor rather than thermoelectric. Questionable reviews on thermoelectric regarding temperature control, energy efficiency, and durability. But alleged shortcomings with compressor type is noise and vibration. Yep, guessing there is more noise compared to thermoelectric but subtle and not at all offensive to me! Probably same for vibration but again very minor to me! If any vibration is considered not good for proper long term aging of deep reds than this isn't the best. But again maybe not a concern for my use. Didn't see any mention of light protection in product description but glass door is lightly tinted or smoked making it appear dark in cabinet. Can't say if this is sufficient for so call UV light protection. Just saying, in my opinion, if you are like me and just looking for a good safe storage option with flexibility, quiet well controlled operation, smaller unit, and not great concern for long term storage then can't beat this unit for great value! ... show more

I only picked this wine fridge due me having some Magnum wine bottles and larger reserved wine bottles. I liked how it had the removable racks and the bottom section where you can stand wine sitting up. The larger bottle reserve wines fit fine on the racks and the very large magnum bottle of wine I have fits perfectly on the bottom partially standing up. The fridge does make a buzzing sound when it turns on to adjust the inside temperature of the fridge. It's not super loud but it is noticeable. The noise only last about 1 minute and turns off. I assume how many times it turns on to adjust the tempature, depends on the tempature in ur home. Other than that it's a quiet unit. If u open the door while it's running time regulate the tempature you will hear a weird hissing sound on the inside but once u close the door you can no longer hear it. I dont have a tempature reading but the inside fridge doesnt feel like the 63 degrees I have it set to. The bottles do feel slightly cold at touch but there is no condensation on the bottle at all. At 63 degrees typically glass liquids have condensation on the bottle from the cold air. So incent say whether its accurate or not. All in all it's a great fridge. Fits any size bottle with rack adjustments. It's very heavy around 55 pounds. Very sturdy and clean looking. It only took about 20 mins for the fridge to adjust to the 65 degrees once I plugged it in. The night light looks great but it doesnt stay on. It automatically turns off after about 1 minute. I would recommend the fridge if you have larger than normal wine bottles and you want the freedom to adjust racks to make sure your bigger bottles fit. I've attached pictures to show how I positioned the bigger magnum bottle which is 1.5L. I removed the bottom rack and stood it up. The media could not be loaded. Update: I bought the fridge on April 8, 2021. Today is July 10, 2021 and the fridge started making a loud buzzing noise. I'm not sure if it's cooling anymore. I had to unplug for a few minutes and then plug back in to get it to stop. I tried calling customer service and the automated answering system for customer service didn't work. I left a message on the only number I could get through on, which was for sales. Original review: I love the size of this wine fridge. It holds plenty and doesn't take up too much space in my townhome. My only complaint is that the shelves are too close together to fit bottles of bubbly. I can fit two bottles on the bottom angled slot, but that is one less bottle that fits. The interior light is nice. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this product and hope that it lasts a long time. ... show more

We purchased this NutriChef 18 bottle wine cooler to replace another brand that was not working. The storage arrangement of this unit has a place for unfinished bottles that partially stand up. This feature prevents potential leaks from corks when the bottle is stored lying flat. The bottle racks are large enough to hold bottles slightly larger than Bordeaux wine bottles making storage of different size bottles possible. This cooler has compressor cooling and is extremely quiet. On startup I set the temps for upper and lower sections and the temps were reached in less than a half hour. 24 hours later the temps were holding steady. The only assembly is to install the handle, however this was a minor problem due to the screws provided were too short and I had to get two longer ones to install the handle. Bought for my husband about 3 weeks ago. So far it’s good! Temp is great for wine. Keep in mind if you want to store canned beverages inside that the temp you may want your cans at would be a lot colder than the wine should be. Also the racks are too spaced out for cans and standard sized cans fall through. So really can only be used for wine and maybe bottled beverages. I would be open to trying to get some flat racks to replace one or two of the wine racks; this way we can put in some canned beverages. But the bottom shelf is flat so we are able to keep some cans on the very bottom! Noise level is very good. Not noticeable ... show more
