I replaced an older small "dorm room style" refrigerator located under my wet bar with this one. I am very pleased with this beverage cooler as it runs very quietly (a key feature given that we have friends and family gather at the wet bar and there is almost no noise from this unit), holds a good assortment of cans and bottles (including beer and larger-than-usual wine and sangria bottles). This was perfect for a space I had under the counter in our man cave. It fit great and is very quiet. Keeps all the extra drinks out of my main fridge. I love the tint of the door as I didn't want clear.

Edited 3/19/24. I set the temperature to 41, then didn’t open it for a week. The wine was chilled to 42-43. Set to 43, the wine is 45. So the difficulty isn’t so much the refrigerator as the fact that it takes a long time to cool the interior. It works better than my review suggests. I have been using this for over two months, to be sure I passed through the initial quirks. Overall it is quite good, although I have a few small complaints. The first is the temperature, which is the main point of a refrigerator. It came set to 46, and cooled wine reliably to 49.6 °F. I lowered it to 44 and the wine temperature went up to 51.5. I set it to 48, which it claims is the best, and the wine temperature went up a bit more. I tried 46 again and the temperature didn't change. Now I have it at 44 and get a wine temperature of 50.5 °F. I was trying to get 48 but 50.5 isn't bad; one of these days I'll try lowering the temperature. It does hold the temperature reliably. The cooling system is not strong, so if you just fill the refrigerator with wine it will take ages to reach a steady temperature, during which time it will run frequently. (And while it does indeed keep below ~39 dB, my main refrigerator runs at about 25 dB of sound.) I added an RV refrigerator fan, and use it whenever I put in a lot of new wine; this significantly cuts the time it takes to reach a steady temperature. The statement is that it will hold 36 bottles. That assumes that you remove the glass shelves and stack the bottles (even the recessed bottom shelf is deep enough for a standard wine bottle lying down). Since I have separated the wine into three sections (wines for aging, wines my wife likes, and my wines) I have one layer of 8 bottles, one of 10, and the top layer of 12 (plus a couple bottles in the rack at the top that are among my favorites but not in the aging group). I'd say I could fit 27 this way. Since I rarely need more space than that, I'm satisfied. ... show more

As you can see in the pictures, the cooler gets to 38 degrees and fits very well in my closet. This unit is compact, very efficient, temperature control goes lower than shown, and comes already installed. A very well investment I have say so. 👍🤩😃

Too noisy but maintains temperature consistently, does not run long but it will wake you up unlike the Wine Enthusiasts one I got at Costco which is quiet enough to even put in a bedroom or studio apartment. The thing WILL wake you up or at least ruin you sleeping. Mine is in the dining room so it is OK there. The default is 54 F but I use 51 F but all my units are like that regardless of manufacturer. I only have 1 of this model but several other units of the same size and one smaller. It should be noted, units with a compressor last longer and can maintain a consistent temperature unlike thermoelectrics, 5 of my 6 thermoelectrics have failed BUT that was after nearly a decade of use. They were also smaller cheaper units I got as a Black Friday deal. ... show more

I bought this because it was well rated on consumer reports. Very good build quality. Leveled easily. With two front feet no adjustments in back. The wire rack is cumbersome at best. The wire rack was scratching the walls and getting 4 bottles on it and get them in and out was a pain. I opted to ditch the wire rack. No wire rack increased my total storage up to 41 750ml bottles. Not super convenient having one shelf with 15 bottles, but I can use that shelf when I buy cases of my favorite wine. Overall I really like this wine fridge. I'm waiting the 24 hours mandatory for any device that uses a compressor bubbles in the coolant are bad. I'll update after it's running and I have more experience with it. Update: After letting the fridge run for 18 hours It seemed a little warm so I thought I would use my phone probe to test the temperature. The temperature range wins it to 50° is +5°/-7°. The fridge would range from 55° to 42.5°. I don't have the most accurate tools for measuring temperature but they're accurate enough for me. I will probably be changing the set temp up to 52° so the compressor kicks on at approximately 57°. I plan on aging a few bottles over 10 years so I would rather be on the cooler side than the warmer side. Overall very good fridge especially for the money. ... show more

my wife has back problems, so I put in on an end table. now she can get to her soda or water bottles without bending down and hurting her back from the effort. noise level fine and it is easy to see what you want or how much you have left and or need to replace. this has worked out better for her than we anticipated. she's 80 and very pleased with this item ... show more
