It just for wine anymore! Home cheese makers rated this unit well for people making and aging their cheese at home. Cheese is best aged between 50-55 F, too cool for the kitchen counter and too warm for the fridge. The range of this unit is perfect. I put a bowl of water in the bottom to get the right humidity as I was experimenting. I was pleased that my cheese aging boxes fit perfectly in the grooves after I removed the wine racks. I purchased this for a kitchen remodel. It was going to be put under a cabinet at a beverage station for 'adult drinks'. This location is in between the living room and dining room. Unfortunately, when the compressor runs it is VERY loud, distractingly loud. While watching a movie, it really kills the ambiance if you’re watching a romantic movie. You literally have to turn the volume up on the TV to drown out the fridge. After only one month, the electrician unplugged it to move it and when he went to plug it back in, there was nothing. It was broken. Fortunately for me, he gave me the $$ for it and I replaced it with a different one. Happy ending for me; hope you can have one too. ... show more

This product is a little loud. It does not allow me to adjust the temperature manually or otherwise. It is nice looking and sleek. I am very disappointed in the lack of temperature control. The controls exist however the cooler does not respond when trying to adjust the temperature
