Our 7 & 10 year old easily assembled and it came with everything needed to assemble and paint. Came with plenty of extra planets do recommend if transporting maybe finding a way to glue plants in place - we did not and it survived a week in a classroom and too and from school. This is very easy to put together. Also the painting kit is good and colors planets easy. This made it to school and and back and was still in model formation. I'm impressed with product and my child.

We purchased this for a school project for my 4th grader and had such a good time painting and constructing our universe! Based on other reviews, we elected to glue everything and use real metal washers. We also spray painted everything black to blend in better with our diorama. We would highly recommend this to other families for school, or as a fun rainy day activity.

I bought this for my son's school project. If he did not need it I would have returned it because it is a poor design. The wooden part does not stay together properly and that is with following the instructions that were provided. The balls are ridiculously small. Save your money.
