  • Excellent enhancement that I was looking for!
Color: Black
This was something I badly needed and had been waiting for. I'm not entirely sure why, but the back buttons have always felt awkward to use. Optionally, there is a 3D printable attachment you could get made that snaps on to the back of the Steam Deck and gives the back buttons an extended feel, like the rear buttons on the Steam Controller. I think that's what's been missing - something that made the buttons feel a bit different than just being flush with the back of the Deck. These come in 2 thickness sizes, 4 enhancers each, with multiple pieces of double-sided adhesive, in case you mess up (I messed up once!). They come in a neat little clamshell case with alcohol wipes and a mini microfiber cloth. Step 1 was to take my TPU grip case off and remove the skins I had already placed on the buttons. Step 2, clean and dust the buttons with the alcohol wipes and dry them off with the microfiber cloth. Step 3, pick the desired thickness and position the button enhancers. Step 4, apply the double-sided adhesive to the enhancer. A note I'd like to make is to apply one button at a time. Step 5, place the enhancer on the button. Try to get it right on the first try, because if you try to remove it, the double-sided adhesive can pull off of the enhancer. That's where I messed up! Another note is that the adhesive pieces are mirror images of each other, so it doesn't matter which one you use as long as it matches the shape of the button and enhancer. Step 6, put the case back on, and enjoy! I used the thicker enhancer versions since I have a grip case on it, and let me tell you, there was a huge difference right away! I was able to play Doom 2016 and jump around and chainsaw successfully. The same goes with Team Fortress 2. These enhancers are game changers. They're made out of a nice, grippy, soft rubber that contours perfectly to your finger tips. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking to make the back buttons more comfortable and accessible; they're terrific! ... show more

  • You Can Actually Reach the Buttons!
Color: White
I honestly recommend these buttons a lot. Since applying they're so much easier to push in and actually get to when gaming. Valve really made the back and shoulder buttons so slim... The application process is simple and straightforward. Double sided adhesive keeps them in place. You're given multiple sets of the adhesive and two sets of the buttons. But they should stick as long as when you first apply the adhesive you let it sit for a bit. I recommend putting the adhesive on the buttons of the Steam Deck first. Let them sit for a bit. Then use tweezers to peel the other size to then stick the button. Again, stick and let it sit. I held and pushed it on. Obviously don't try to pull them off but they stay perfectly fine on my end! In the event it doesn't stick, fall off or anything - there's more adhesive anyway. Believe me though that they make a difference. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Useful buttons
Color: White
The default steam deck back buttons are sometimes difficult to press because they’re not very tall when you hold. These adhesive bits makes them quite easy and comfortable to press! Simple, does what it says it will do, I’m pleased

  • Works great, application sucks
Color: White
I have large hands and found that the back buttons on my steam deck were too shallow to use comfortably most of the time. I used the smaller grip attachments and they make it SO much more comfortable, I can actually use the back buttons regularly now. Unfortunately, putting them on was a major pain. I read that the adhesive was separate from the rubber pieces in another review, but I didn't think it was a big deal since I'm not too bad at lining things up. The problem is that the adhesive strips don't stick to the rubber. Not even a little bit. I'd recommend applying the adhesive to the buttons on your deck first and then the rubber pieces on top of that, because trying to put the adhesive on the rubber first was an impossible task. I'd peel one side of the adhesive off, apply it to the rubber and then rub it to get rid of air bubbles and the like, but no matter how hard I pressed or how long I rubbed, when I tried to peel the cover for the other side of the adhesive, it'd come up from the rubber. This made placing it on the buttons really difficult, and readjusting even more so. Luckily, they seem to stick pretty well once you get them on, though the edges on a couple of them can peel up if you come at them at a weird angle and I have one that's raised a bit due to the adhesive folding over. I'd recommend them as they made the back buttons usable for me, but be aware they're uber annoying to apply. ... show more

  • Simple, perfect.
Color: Passion Red
They literally just make your back buttons bigger and more tactile. Super cheap, super easy to slap on, much easier to find the buttons now (since they're not flush with the back anymore). Also, bonus! The Steam Deck still fits perfectly in the case.

  • Literal game changer
Color: MIX Black
Like the total says, it's a game changer. Very easy to attach to the back buttons and they stick in very well. They feel great and make it easier to use the back buttons. 10/10

  • IT PERFECTLY CONTRASTS MY WHITE GRIPS!
Color: Passion Red
There's no reason for writing this review, I simply wanted to post a photo of how they look, since I didn't see any good photos of the red ones. The photo was taken on a Samsung, under direct some sunlight. When it comes to the overall comfort, paired with the silicone cover from JSAUX, it definitely feels more ergonomic. The large pads perfectly allow my long fingers to rest on them without having to bend my fingers. ... show more
