    • Best price and work on for beginners
Size: 12 Color: Black
I bought two of this ice skating shoes for my sons. There are not many choices of boys's ice skating shoes. And compared to all other brand, this kind is the cheapest one. For my two beginners, i don't want to spend over 500 bucks just have hours fun. And Don't worry about the quality. For beginner training, the quality is good enough. And kids feet grow fast. Won't keep use the same pair for long time. Comfort ice skating shoes are the best fitting pair. Just make sure u follow the size guide And get the right size. ... show more

    • Good beginning skate for the price
Size: 1 Color: Black
They are unexpectedly good quality considering the price and are perfect for a recreational or beginning skater. If you take care of them they should last a child 3-4 years. Wipe off the blades after each use and don't reef on the laces or else you'll wear out/loosen the lace grommets (true of any skate). Ask someone at the rink for more maintenance tips. You could also get gel inserts if they are too big. You can also get them if your child complains that the skates are uncomfortable (when they are new) but first check the tightness over the top of the foot above the arch. Often times if it is too tight it will make the arch of the foot hurt. Note: You may need to get them sharpened ... show more

    • Great beginner skate
Size: 10 Color: Black
My 5 year old son is just starting lessons and from experience with my 7 year old daughter's skating career, you cannot do anything worthwhile in rental skates, so I purchased this for my son just like I did for my daughter when she first started. The padding is ok, certainly not like the ones in the hundred dollar skates but it's sufficient with a pair of long athletic socks that go above the boot. The one negative I have to say is the length of the tongue. Once you lace it all the way up, the tongue doesn't reach the last hook so I simply end it at the 2nd hook. It doesn't seem to matter as my daughter recently placed first in her pre-alpha competition. I purchased the boy's skate true to regular shoe size. Definitely a few notches above the quality of rental skates. ... show more

    • Worth It!
Size: 3 Color: Black
Bought these for my son's ice skating practice. These are cheap and my son says fit way better than the rentals. Plus they are his and not too many rentals come in black. They do need to be sharpened before use so keep that in mind. Love these! You are going to want to buy these.

    • We haven't used them on ice, but like the look/feel
Size: 1 Color: Black
I ordered these for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He is a solid size 1 and these fit perfectly. I haven't decided if I'm going to try to return them for a bigger size or not. I'm just a little worried he'll outgrow them in a month...that being said they were a good price and with ice skates you really don't want them too big. ... show more
