I'm a professional babysitter and nanny. I bought this to bring to kids houses, I thought it looked fun! I haven't had one kid to play on it more than a minute or 2. They all have hated it. It was a waste of money for me.

There are many of these dance mats being sold by a variety of Chinese companies on Amazon right now. One thing I really like about this one is that it works great for both boys and girl. You will sometimes see bright pink mats which are more for girls. Four AA batteries are required and not included. So if you are giving this to someone as a gift, you may wish to purchase some separately. You will also probably need extras to replace when they wear out. This Matt is made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. I recently received the PlayRoute Shape Game Play Mat for my 6 year old niece and I am blown away by how much she loves it! The electronic dance mat is a fun and interactive way for kids to learn shapes, colors, and patterns while getting some physical activity in. The three different shape games keep my niece entertained , and she is constantly asking to play again and again. I love that the mat is designed to be durable and easy to clean, as it can get quite active during playtime. Not only is this mat a hit with my niece, but it but it was also a hit with my older nephew who played with her. Overall, I would highly recommend the PlayRoute Shape Game Play Mat to any parent or relative looking for a fun and educational STEM toy for another child. It would make a perfect gift for any child ages 3-10+.
