  • Impressive
Style: 3000 Watt Monoblock
I was in a budget and was hesitant but bought this about 2 years ago and was amazed at how powerful it was. I was pushing 2 10d and a 12 with no problem. Fast forward to today I bought a new truck and it has a BOSS 2000w amp with 2 Rockford fosgates 12s, so I ran my planet audio with 2 10' cerwin Vegas and it blows the Boss away. I'm going to sell the BOSS and buy the exact same amp and run 4 CWs 10s now. The ONLY bad note is one of the screw holes for the ground stripped out and I had to basically rig a bolt to fix it. Other than that I wou 100% recommend the Planet Audio amp. It bumps, it's loud and sounds like there's a gorilla in your trunk! ... show more

  • Don't use the remote
Style: 3000 Watt Monoblock
So let's start with the bad. The remote is garbage. It doesn't work for crap and mine is now broken. So I upgraded it with the rca bass remote with voltage display. Best $ I ever spent. The only other thing bad about this amp is the terminals are low grade so too much pressure with just a screw driver will strip them out. The good. Now I haven't stuck my Volt Meter on this thing cuz I'm pretty sure I'd blow my skar audio sub before I found the max output. This thing pushes. I upgraded my amp cuz the old one was a 2500w and it kept overheating. This amp, never an issue. I can bump it all day and it just wants more. I'm running a 14v system in my SUV so I tend to not have power issues but my last amp would dim my headlights a bit. For some reason this one doesn't 🤔 but beyond that you can't beat the price. Overall a good amp. Just get a better remote ... show more

  • Great product for the price!
Style: 2000 Watts Monoblock
I used this with a pair of audio Bahn 12 inch subwoofers.. The amp definitely pushes them. But I like to listen to my music loud, so this amp gets hot pretty quick and begins to go into protection mode when I push them to its peak. So I guess ill need a amp fan to keep it cool. Other then that, I can say impressed with the quality for the price. I would recommend it to anyone. Butttt.. You have to make sure you get fans for the amp, otherwise your going to be upset when you begin pushing them. ... show more

  • Sounds ok
Style: 2000 Watts Monoblock
Plays ok, doesn't push the full rms power of the amp. Got really hot after playing it for a hour. Needs a built in fan. Needs more adjustments to make it sound better. I would recommend buying a different amp. Good for a beginner

  • This Amp Is Killer!!
Style: 3000 Watt Monoblock
This 3000w amp was a game changer for my new stage 2 12” DC subs. Supplies way more power than the 1200w amps i’m used to. Only complaint is the plug hole for the bass knob is the small port and didn’t fit my new upgraded knob port and wire which is the size of an ethernet cable. I had to buy a telephone to internet female cable adapter and now the bass knob display dosent light up but besides that this amp is a 10/10 ... show more

  • Great amp, terrible terminals! Come on guys, Phillips head screws, square washers? It's 2017, time for set screw terminals
Style: 2000 Watts Monoblock
For the money this is a good deal. This amp comes within 75 watts of the 1500w@2ohm rating. I have it pushing 2 mtx 7512-22 (7500 series 12's), in a slot ported box, tuned @43hz and it Beats, hard. Even though the subs could handle one of these amps each, it pushes plenty of power with zero heat or clipping issues. My only issue, and it is quite a big problem if you ask me, hence the 3 star rating instead of 5. Being that it is 2017 and the nail was upgraded a century ago when flat head screw showed up, then everyone realized that they were crap once they saw a Phillips head screw. Well Phillips screws are the new flathead. Due to the arrival of the socket head cap screw or "Allen head" and the torx head or "star bit" screw. Please planet audio, the terminal screws kill the quality feel of this and all of your amplifiers. I know that they cost a little more, especially if you were to do it right and use a set screw type terminal. I for one could do without the light up emblem and less. Screw a nice emblem to the amp, toss all the gimmick lights and use the $ that was being wasted and upgrade the hardware on your entire line of amplifiers and watch how much it will affect your product ratings and reviews. Not only are they Phillips, but they are cheap, super soft, and just like a girl named Roxy, made to strip. ... show more
