Great addition to my vehicle. Fit, form and function are superb. Great value for the price. Installation was super easy (10-15) mins. Build quality seems pretty durable so it should last a good while. Very low SNR. Perfect power and stability matching for my sub.

Thumps hard, sounds great!

It's strange that the review guide asks you about the warmth and thickness of the amp? Sounds like maybe they got the amplifier confused with a women's personal device? How odd? Any way, I installed this amp in October and it's been working pretty good so far. It definitely pushes my single 1200w Sony Xplod. I'm not sure about all the negative reviews but mine came pkg intact and worked as advertised. Definitely rattles the car and your bones! Enough to make the neighbors complain. It doesn't run hot and I haven't had any problems with clipping or overheating. My only small gripe is the blue lights on the amp they are very bright and fill the car with a blue glow. It's cool at first but I think it's a little much. Easy fix would be to cover with electrical tape, but then that negates the effect. Maybe Planet Audio can add a knob to allow users to turn down the brightness? The amp seems solidly built and has pretty deep heatsinks. Hopefully it will last for years to come. I'm planning on switching my sub box out and going with a pair of 10s. I'll report back if I have any negative changes.

Great amp

I used this to replace a Kenwood that finally died, I've got 2 memphis 12 street reference and this amp pounds them better then the Kenwood did! If you know how to properly adjust your amp you won't have any issues!

Underpowered

Honestly, this “2000 watt” Planet Audio amp is pretty disappointing. It doesn’t come close to the power it claims—realistically it feels way underpowered, and it starts to distort when you push it even a little. I expected a big upgrade, but my 1500 watt Crunch amp that it was supposed to replace actually performs better overall—cleaner sound, more consistent output, and just hits harder. Bottom line: Don’t be fooled by the 2000W label. It’s weak for what it claims, and there are better options out there

Great product for the price!

I used this with a pair of audio Bahn 12 inch subwoofers.. The amp definitely pushes them. But I like to listen to my music loud, so this amp gets hot pretty quick and begins to go into protection mode when I push them to its peak. So I guess ill need a amp fan to keep it cool. Other then that, I can say impressed with the quality for the price. I would recommend it to anyone. Butttt.. You have to make sure you get fans for the amp, otherwise your going to be upset when you begin pushing them.
