Theres only 2 different screw sizes so it's easy to follow which to use without getting confused. 2) I am happy with the way the couch looks. It looks expensive and high end but at an affordable price. I initially read five-star reviews and was very optimistic. This piece was not available on prime, so I paid the additional $100 for shipping. After receiving the sofa and assembling, I was so disappointed. Not sure how anybody gave this more than one star. I’m fortunate to have bought the extended warranty- I have had this about a month now and the legs are already shaky. The cushions are hard as a rock, and by no means comfortable. This sofa is the smallest piece I have ever seen…would be perfect for a Barbie house, but even too small for my 700sf apartment. Don’t waste your money. ... show more

I got this couch because it was what I could afford at the time. It was semi easy to put together but was made poorly so some pieces did not fit together and took forever to put together. It's not super comfortable but good enough. My kitten likes to sharpen her claws on it while I'm not watching. This was the perfect fit for my very tiny space living room. It came in pieces so it required assembly but it was not difficult at all. It’s not luxurious. It feels like doll house furniture at first but you get used to it and it is comfortable to sit and sleep on if necessary. This couch is MUCH smaller than anticipated. It's definitely made for small spaces, but more for teens and children than adults. I'm only 5 feet, 8 inches and my feet hang over the ottoman area. On the plus side it does look nice and stylish. And it's not the most uncomfortable sofa, but it is on the firm side. It's basically only comfortable if you sit in the middle of each cushion. Otherwise, you feel like you're sliding off. Speaking of sliding off, the seat area is short so plan on using an ottoman if you're sitting in the middle or on the end without an ottoman or you'll feel like you're sliding forward. If you'll be using this in a room where people only sit for short lengths of time, it might work for you. If using this for a teen game room, child's playroom or kid seating in a den, it will probably work. But for adults taller than 5 feet, 4 inches, definitely not. We did try to return, but the company requires you to pay for the return shipping, which is at least half of the cost of the sofa. You live and you learn. We were so concerned about it not being too BIG, that we didn't realize it might be too SMALL. Shame on us. Manufacturer, maybe make the cushions a little softer, the ottoman part longer, and more support under the cushions. Then you may have a winner! Two of the 3 stars is for looks. ... show more

We recently moved into an apartment and we weren’t looking for anything too big. It’s a great size for its value and will be perfect (not too heavy or big) when we move again. My husband is 5’6 and he hangs off the long side a little but I (5’0) fit perfectly there. The bottom cushions (where you sit) are pretty plump but the the cushions you lean your back against is a little thin. For the most part it was easy to put together. The little ottoman did get a little confusing though because there wasn’t any directions. The directions kinda just showed it built but we eventually figured it out (: The seller was also very communicative. He reached out to us and let us know not to be alarmed if it came in two separate packages. We received both at the same time fortunately. We are very happy with our purchase overall!! ... show more
