Description

The main reason a capacitor is always recommend, is for power reserve. The capacitor stores energy and releases it very quickly to the amplifier(s). How does this help? A capacitor will keep the power going to the amplifier consistent and stabilized, which means a better sounding system. IMPORTANT: The remote output of the head unit is connected to the remote turn on of the capacitor. The capacitor will not function if the remote wire is not connected to your head unit.

Its been pushing 2 amps, 3000watts amp and a 500watts 4 channel amp just perfectly at 14v this whole time. Turns off 1 minute after engine off and its well worth it for a great price too.

As of now I cannot say what I dislike about this product. I just ordered it. I have amateur radio training and have worked with capacitors a lot! I think a lot of the negatives on here are from people not hooking these up right because not only in theory but in fact they do work. Not as much as a battery in your trunk but they do work! Charging them is the secret. And also knowing how to discharge them properly! Most of the time if you have problems with these a simple discharge will fix the problem. I have one ohm 12-in Skat Audio sub coming in tomorrow and enclosure. Will definitely update tomorrow. They may not be as good as a battery in your trunk. But they do help when properly installed. You can also look up the amplifier I'm using. Directed D.2400. True 1500 w RMS amplifier stable at 1 ohm. Update!! After changing properly. Found out my amp was broke. So. I used my 800 RMS class d Cadence. Cap hasn't dropped under 14 v. Awesome ... show more

Bought it Feb and display out in Jul which wasn’t a big thing but the low voltage beep stays on now. I tested it and it holds a constant 14 bolts still

Running 2 12s my voltage is sitting around 13. 7 low 13s when whammin. Works great not a fan how the blue LED light turns on every time the voltage fluctuates though. Looks like the police are behind me every time I'm looking in my rearview mirror lol
