I am very pleased with the 1000 watt 2 channel amp that I purchased. Its feeding power to two 10 inch speakers enclosed in seperate ported factory boxes. Before this I had only one 10 inch speaker that was hooked to a 400 watt amp in bridge mode with 2 fives also on the same amp in the left and right channel soooo you know that is not the way you want your bass speakers to be powered so anyway after getting another10 inch and hooking them up correctly the sound is superb, I am not having any luck with the remote tuner but then again I haven't even looked at the pamphlet that comes with the amp perhaps it needs to be on a certain level before the remote can work...I will look at that later but as of now I can tell no noticeable difference when turning the remote knob from min to max, only time will tell if this amp will stand up from the constant heat that it will get but I felt it earlier today and the heat was minimum being turned up listening to some good Magic Mike Drop the Base... so yes I would recommend this amp to others but again if you're one who puts their amp in the trunk with summertime heat then I can't tell you if this amp can handle that or not... ... show more

Ok reviews are right on so I bought this for my Jeep just to run my skar 8” subs 300 watt this 1000 watt ? Amp is disappointing to say the least ,I mean really! 1000 watt amp for just 2 - 8” subs rated at 300 watts max I have it cranked up over half way and the gain is up and just getting a little thump very disappointed ... show more

    • It may be the smallest big punch amp in the world!
I purchased this amp as the final piece of a three amp system I built three years ago. Originally, I purchased all pyle amps, speakers. Their speakers have an average life of 6 months or slightly more & most times less. I'll give the amps credit, no matter how hard I pushed them, they never blew. They just fried the speakers instead (6 pair or more). Never ever, ever buy a pyle anything....period. This amp is 500 watts peak x 2 channels ( this rating is pure crap) but actually produces 350 watts rms per channel. That is a substantial increase rms wise over any other amp in it's class ( that especially includes KENWOOD) This numbnutz who thought buying 1000 peak anybrand for subs is just ignorant. He should be purchasing at least a 1500 watt mono block for the subs...minimum. Ask any expert, they will tell you this FACT. This is a great amp with great specs, runs cool to the touch & for the price....HAS NO EQUAL....fact. I am now officially planet audio powered top to bottom & LOVE IT. By the way, anyone building a large wattage system should seriously look into buying digital capacitors to eliminate multibattery installations. Sound engineers say at least 10 farad for each 1000 watts. They also say "There is NO such thing as too many farad". I hope this info helps you, planet audio anarchy can NOT be beat by any brand unless you pay DOUBLE. ... show more

    • Great “BANG” for your buck!
I didn’t expect much from this amp when I bought it. I was big into car audio 15 years ago. I never quite got it right. I was constantly blowing up subwoofers and amps. Now today we have all the information needed in our pocket on our phone instead of having to read a booklet on every single piece of equipment we buy. So I’m running this amp with a Rockford fosgate prime r2(250w rms) at the moment in a box I built to exact specs for a sealed enclosure in my Ford F-150 xlt. It fits perfectly behind the seat. Of course I’m not getting the full power potential out of this amp but my under 200$ Set up sounds amazing. I love the bass boost remote. Feels well built and it looks great. This amp brought my passion for super bass back after all these years. I highly recommend this amp for any budget build. ... show more

My son purchased this for two twelve inch skar subs. It pushes them very well nice sounding. I don't remember the make or wattage of the subs. But they sounds really good with this amplifier. Now my daughter is going to buy the same amplifier for her car.
