  • Consistent prints and hassle-free setup
Color: Black With Spool
This filament has been very reliable and easy to work with. It feeds smoothly, maintains a consistent diameter, and produces clean prints with good layer adhesion and surface finish. I’ve had minimal stringing and no clogging, even during longer jobs. The spool design is convenient and the material arrives ready to use, which saves time and guesswork. Colors print evenly and the final results look sharp and professional. It’s a solid choice for both everyday printing and more detailed projects. ... show more

  • Incredible spool system; won't buy/print any others now
Color: Reusable Spool S1
The short version is that this spool has changed my entire workflow and filament storage system (and purchasing, tbh) for the better and I'm incredibly glad I found it. I never have to worry about which spools are being taken up where or whether to "waste a spool" on a new color for a small print or if I have enough free spools around for the colors I need, etc. I'm currently in the process of replacing my entire setup with these. I very much recommend trying one and seeing how it works for you! MORE DETAIL So I saw this spool (and filament) when I was looking for a replacement for BBL PLA Matte Plum filament. BBL ended up restocking so I didn't purchase the filament here but I was intrigued by the reusable spool so I bought one just to try out. Opened it, used it for a new BBL refill, did a print, removed the filament from the spool, stored the non-spooled roll cleanly and easily back on my rack, and put a new color on the same spool. Then I immediately came back to buy 7 more spools and changed how I work with and store my filament. Seriously. My new flow: I keep my 6 most used colors on 6 of these spools because they're so easy to swap when they run out. It doesn't seem like much but when you change out refills a couple times a day, it adds up. It's also just a much smoother system that makes swapping feel nicer overall heh. I also have 2 spools I keep empty to change out the one-off colors here and there when needed. (Load spool, print, unload spool and store.) I'll be buying at least 2 more to keep 4 empty total—enough to be able to load my AMS with one-off colors when the need arises. And as my other often-used colors run out, I'll be replacing their spools with these as well so everything is on this system. I will never have to worry if I have a spool to use, or need to buy an emergency roll with a spool for backup or AMS auto-refill or whatever reasons. I only need to buy refills and this system ensures I always have a spool available or, if not, I can easily make one available temporarily. (I do have several spools of very specialized filaments on factory BBL spools stored away in bags that are very rarely needed... I'll probably keep those spools for that purpose since they never need swapping but we'll see.) - Adding a new refill is incredibly easy. Don't have to line up a notch; just slide the refill on. The clips are much easier and quicker to use than twisting and/or using a locking shim. The plastic bands on new BBL refills don't get stuck when trying to remove them. Just all around much simpler and easier user experience. - Removing used filament for reuse is incredibly easy. It comes with velcro bands. Just slide them into the recesses on the spool, fasten them tight, unclip the spool, and remove the filament. It's ready to go back on the shelf and reuse later. - Spool itself is high quality. Doesn't flex a bunch, the clips lock securely, holds up in a vacuum bag, etc. - Spool size is the same. It fits and works fine in the AMS 2 Pro, stacks on racks the same, fits edge labels and clips the same, etc. The only slight negative I find here is that the locking clips stick out a tiny bit from the side of the spool. It's very minimal, but that can add up over several spools across a rack if you need precise spacing there. It also means it doesn't stack completely flat on its side horizontally if that matters to you. Doesn't for me since I rack them vertically and I have a bit of play on my self, but FYI if it does matter to you! - Their labeling system is neat. You can 3D print a label similar to the stickers that come with the BBL spools to label for PLA Basic, PETG-HF, etc. I actually don't use those much because I use a different labeling/clip system and see my spools head-on, but their system is very good if that's a label position that works for you. I'll be printing versions to help me identify my "permanent" spools and which are "empty/temporary" ones just because I can heh. Yeah, great reusable spool system. Best I've found and I'm all in on it now. Give it a try! ... show more

  • Great Filament - Spool design is fantastic!
Color: Green With Spool
I’ve been using the MarsWork PLA Basic pre-dried filament and it’s been a solid performer overall. Prints come out clean with good layer adhesion and consistent extrusion, and I’ve had very few issues with clogging or stringing. The fact that it comes pre-dried definitely seems to help with print quality right out of the box. The reusable quick-swap spool is a nice bonus — convenient and more eco-friendly than disposable spools. It feeds smoothly and hasn’t caused any tangling problems for me. For general PLA printing, prototypes, or everyday parts, it’s reliable and easy to work with. Overall, a good value filament that I’d buy again. ... show more

  • Newest version is worth the money, great quality built to last
Color: Aluminum Reusable Spool Ms2 Lite
New review-1/22/26 I couldnt review the new product on its own and it redirected to modify my original one so that review is still below. When i posted the original review the company reach out about the improvements and were extremely gracious and open minded about it, which is rare now a days. I can say they really care about rhe quality of their products and i can atest to the filaments and spool holders. The new revision made this product perfect in the picture you can see the original, the updated which is the lite and the current revision that i am holding. What they have made is built to last and are great for high temp drying or even just having a quality spool. If you are the type to value quality over quantity i highly recommend the new version. Although the lite version has its place if you are wanting a cheaper version. I do own their plastic spools as well and they are very easy to use you cant go wrong with either. If you can envision and have an idea to improve their product they will listen. Just try to keep it with in reason and realistic!! That being said as long as they maintain their high quality in products they have a customer for life in me and if others buy any of the filaments or spools im sure you'll see why. On a side review their filament quality is as good and could even be better than bambulabs. I have had zero issues and the colors are spot on but that can change slightly between batchs for any company. The printer i have is a H2C, this was it give them a shot and be impressed! Worse case you can always return it but i really doubt it will come to that. Old review I have the original metal spool that i bought a few weeks ago and it was completely superior conpared to what i received today which was probably a revision. The original has bearings that were made of metal and slid very smoothly, this new version has a plastic ring instead...which i had to shave off because it barely fit as the plastic rings on each side were not consistant in size and it would not spin. There is a shine and the metal is of higher quality, than this new version. The only improvement was the slots added so you can tie your filament together before removing it which the original was missing and might be why they had to revise it to make it similiar to their plastic versions but im highly disappointed if they added the slots to the original metal reusuable spool it would literally be the perfect product and i would pay more money for it. Marsworks if you see this review please stop selling these and go back to the original ones with just that one modification for the strap if not possible i still prefer the og one for overall quality. I associated this brand with quality products but this new spool is terrible. Ive attached pictures to show the difference. ... show more

  • Great spool!
Color: Reusable Spool S1
I love this spool. Super easy to add filament refills! I like the click lock system rather than the twist system. I also like that it came with Velcro straps to be able to swap refills on it if needed. The locking system is very handy as is the filament locking when not using the filament. Instead of having to run it through the holes and bend it, the filament snaps into the groove reducing bends. I also like how you can print color swatches from the maker that fit perfectly on the spool to be able to identify what the filament is. Good quality, able to withstand high temps when drying too. Much better than Bambu! ... show more
