Bought these to use in an electric flosser. The standard 1.5v alkaline batteries would start running slow after a couple weeks of use. I tried the nimh rechargeable but they are 1.2v and would run the flosser slow with a full charge. These run the flosser faster than it has ever run and they go for months on a charge. I usually charge them before they even start going as slow as a fresh alkaline battery, so I don't know how long they would go if I let it go even slower. I was buying alkaline batteries like I owned the company. These have been a great value. I have only charged them a couple of times so far so I can't say what the longevity would be. 7/02/2023 Update -- Bought on July 10th 2018 Here we are 5 years later. I am still using the same four batteries for my electric flosser. They are still great. The charge doesn't last as long as when they were new but they last long enough that I don't pay attention. They still last a lot longer than a alkaline battery. The flosser needs a 1.5 volt battery to run well so it was either these or alkaline. I just keep a couple charged and when it starts to run slow, I pop in a recharged one. I would have used 130 alkaline batteries in the same amount of time. Very Happy.

I'm using these in a fan that normally takes 4 x 1.2V NmHi rechargeable batteries and the added 1.6v really upped the power. The fan is also rated to take standard 1.5V alkaline batteries so it's just .4V over it's rated load, the fan's motor handles the extra power just fine. I wanted a way to have the higher power without having to constantly replace alkaline batteries and these do the trick well. I haven't had the chance to test their claimed capacity but it seems a little shy of 2500mAh for sure. The run about half as long as the NmHi, but put out like 50% more airflow, still, if there were 2500mAh they should last about as long as similarly rated NmHi batteries. Other than that they seem to be quality cells and do put out considerably more power than standard HmHi rechargeable batteries. They do take a while to charge and can ONLY be charged with a charged meant for NiZn chemistry.

Using regular rechargeable batteries at 1.2V made my smart door lock bind frequently. I found using 1.5V alkaline batteries worked better, but would slowly run down, and I hate the waste. I tried 1.5V rechargeables and they worked great, but 1.6V are even better! I charge them once per month, and that's probably more than I need to. The extra power makes the door locks open and close with authority. No negative side effects. I like that the charger plugs into the wall. A lot of specialty batteries are charged with USB, and that's not as convenient for me.

These are supposed to be lithium??? I’ve had harbor freight brand alkaline batteries last longer. I get about 30 days in my doorbell camera with these, compared to 4-6 months with the name brand.
