Works great but watch your fingers!

This cutter works like a charm. Much better than the roller type cutters which shove the pizza toppings around, make incomplete cuts requiring re-pass, and in general create a mess. This one cuts straight downward and slices cleanly through toppings and crust alike. The rocking action allows application of even cutting pressure when slicing pizzas of any size. A word of warning though. This thing is incredibly sharp. I fumbled it once when cleaning it and it grazed the side of the index finger on my other hand, slicing off the flesh like butter. I am now extremely careful when cleaning the blade and replacing the protective cover. A great, well designed, effective product, but just as effective at severing fingers as the pizza so exercise due care!

I had been using either a ceramic rocker pizza cutter or a wheel cutter to cut my homemade pizzas. Both required multiple passes to cut through the bottom of the pizza. Since I have been making more homemade pizzas in my new pizza oven, I needed a better way to cut them. I found this stainless rocker pizza cutter and had to try it. I bought the 16" size since bigger is better, right? I most often make 12" pizzas for my husband and I, but I figured the larger cutter provided more options to make larger pizzas. I love this pizza cutter, and my old cutter are now in the donation box. What I like about this pizza cutter is: 1) It is sharp and cuts through a pizza in one pass. I no longer have to go over the cut multiple times and giggle the cutter to separate the pieces. 2) The handles are easy to hold on to. They are more than just a bar and easy to hold on to. 3) The 16" size of the cutter allows me to cut different sizes of pizzas. 4) As mentioned, this cutter is sharp and includes a blade protector to protect the blade from damage in a drawer. 5) This cutter is relatively light weight and easy to use. 6) This pizza cutter is good for more than pizzas. I sometimes make quesadillas using 12" tortillas. This pizza cutter cuts them with ease. 7) This pizza cutter looks to be made of quality material that should last for a long time. I recommend this pizza cutter and will update this review if my opinion changes. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Get it!!! I am so glad I ordered this! Not only does it cut pizza very easy with one rock back and fourth, it can cut bread, brownies, large cookie cakes, etc. It is one of the best kitchen tools I have bought this year! Very happy with it, so easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store! It is very light weight, makes it easier to use. Cutting pizza (or other food items) is quick with this tool. The old rolling circle blade tool you had to go back and fourth multiple times for one cut! Not with this tool! One rock and it is cut perfectly! Not crazy slices all over, only perfectly cut slices every time! I also feel this blade will be very easy to sharpen over time as needed. Well worth the price!

Excellent cutter - but VERY sharp

This product works like a dream. Strong and sturdy. Reasonable price. In the past, we've used the round circle wheels with handle and it has never really cut pizza easily. A friend said she had a long "rocker" blade pizza knife and showed us hers. We searched Amaazon and found this one. Liked that it had a cover. Well - gotta say, this was SO MUCH better at slicing pizza!! It is also one of the sharpest cutting edges I've seen in a long time! I actually didn't realize this and cut myself when I just brushed my hand against it in the soapy dishpan :( Lesson learned; I now place it in the sink and wash separately works much better (we actually do this with any of our knives that don't go into the dishwasher like flatware). So safe is good. The pizza cutter is superb. Would buy again, but really don't think it's a more than one off purchase :)
