I purchased this pixelman back up camera as an upgrade to a older pixelman back up camera.I loved the older model and it worked great.The new camera has a clearer picture and better night vision.After installing the first camera I didn’t think it could get much better but here it is.Don't get me wrong the first version of the back up camera was great but this one gives a much better image.I don’t think you will be disappointed with any of the pixelman products.I have had communication with there customer service and they respond quickly.This was for a card that comes in the package to add extra warranty and receive a car charger both for free. In the pictures i am posting the extra outline pictures are from the older camera. The ones without the extra guide lines are from the upgraded camera.

Fantastic metal license plate frame. Good quality and a lot better than the inferior less expensive ones. The chrome is bright and beautiful. The camera is awesome. I’ve put approximately 12 of these cameras in from different projects and they are wide angle and work extremely well. They’re very reliable and don’t fail. You can use the parking guidelines if you want and they can also be mounted on the front of the vehicle if necessary. But you’ll have to be careful that nobody backs into it as the camera protrude a little bit from the frame. But overall an excellent camera and excellent license plate frame. No disappointment!

First off I have tried every type of dash cam out there and this one solved all my issues I had with prior ones. This one comes with the license place holder but its not like other plate cameras. This one screws onto the top and then you can bend it if needed. So its really thin and your plate goes inside the holder, if that makes sense. Trust me its better than any other ones out there. If you are like me and don't want to drill a hole in your car this is the best resolution. It was easy to install and the picure quality is really great. Keep in mind that it is a fish eye lens so you do have to get used to the angle, its not like a front facing cam. It doesn't have any annoying lights that stay on either which is nice. I actually ran my wires to a toggle switch so that I can actually view my rear view at all times and don't have to rely on the backup lights for the camera to function. By using the switch instead I can turn the camera on and off at will. The only issue I have found is at night. I don't know if its the camera or if its my license plate lights but at night when I turn on my lights it gives the camera a terrible glare and thats all I am able to see. I haven't figured out the best way to resolve this yet. I was thinking of some kind of shield to put around the camera so the light doesnt wash out the picture but that would obstruct the fix eye view. I cant turn my plate lights and they have to be functioning in the dark so I haven't found a solution yet. Either way I love the camera and even if I cant fix the night driving glare I am keeping it because its such a good value for the money and it functions really well!

Works well. Screws are really small to mount camera. So they give you 3 just in case you loose one. It will be a project to run the wire to the head unit if you did not have that already. The frame is a little cheap feeling as it is pressed and not solid. Did have to change format on my Android head unit for it to work. It does give details on the format and frame rate to use.

Hands down the best backup camera I have ever worked with. The installation was simple. Just provide power and an ability to display the video signal. Nothing more. You can grab your power from the rear tail light (if you want it only powered while in reverse, or you can provide it from a 12v constant accessory signal or from your radio head unit. It’s your choice. I opted for the 12v constant accessory. The viewing angle is adjustable. The camera sits on a bendable prong that can be adjusted as needed. Now you wouldn’t be using this to make adjustments on the daily but if you need to bend it a few times just to get it right that’s fine. Set it and forget it! This camera doesn’t come with any led lights or ir illumination. Honestly, I think those features are gimmicks as all vehicles should have reverse lights enabled when operating in reverse and this camera is fsr more capable of using the little light that is thrown out by your reverse lights as these are far brighter than what you would expect a rinky dinky LED to provide. I have included comparisons of my old camera (with night LED’s built in and truck reverse lights turned on to my this new camera with zero led lights (it has none) with just reverse lights enabled. After discovering the camera was adjustable I made an adjustment to show the bumper so I can get a better gauge of how far I was. My camera on shows the pixels of the screen so don’t let that dissuade you, the camera is 110% gorgeous in quality and I haven’t even enabled the AHD option. This is standard 720. I might switch the modes but I’m unsure if my radio supports it. I am absolutely impressed with this camera! Looking at the price compared to others, there is value to be had here.
