I am super impressed with this chair! It’s well made and is REAL WOOD!!! The fabric is soft and a bit velvety but not too dense. It is a great size, my 6’1” husband is in the chair in the photo. My room lights/old wood floors aren’t doing the color justice- it’s a beautiful yellow. A little more mustardy than dandelion- but in a good way! It took both my husband and I to get the back of the chair attached but the rest can be done with one person. All of the hardware was quality made as well. #1 it is made for short people, not tall #2 the fabric is not real velvet, it’s rather a faux suede like material, which to me it is a misrepresentation #3 chair is easy to be assembled, but the foot rest (OMG!), you will break a sweat and probably your fingers 👎🏼. Overall it’s a pretty good chair + ottoman combo that fits well in my bedroom. Regardless of its imperfections I would recommend it for purchase. Was looking for a pair of inexpensive chairs for a guest room, found this one here, looks very similar and was half the price of the box store one I had found, great, right? Nope, almost impossible to put together, holes don’t line up properly, after some fiddling was able to get one chair assembled, could not get the legs on the ottoman to line up to get the bolts to thread in, disassembled the chair, repacked it and returned both, poor quality, there is a reason it was so inexpensive. ... show more

So I bought this knowing that it was going to be difficult to assemble. I literally cannot get two of the bottom screws and two of the back seat screws in. I'm probably going to need to hire someone to finish putting it together. It's just really unaligned but it's so pretty and cozy.
