The media could not be loaded. This is not a bad product, but I was somewhat disappointed. It is definitely worthwhile in many situations to have a portable alternative to the built-in microphone on an iPhone, as good as that mic is. I was suprised at how few products Amazon offered for this need and decided to try this one. I actually used it in a setting, shown in the video excerpt from my podcast uploaded here, that was far less than ideal: The recording was made via the cloud on a Zoom connection with a less than robust wifi network, outdoors on a fairly windy day. this thing works! sounds way better than built in mic, great for doing run and gun videos with an iphone. most importantly, there are no adapters needed—just plug it in and you’re ready to go. also, always remember to unplug it before you play back video or else you won’t be able to hear anything.
