I needed a new tackle bag after some zippers gave out on my old one. I knew I wanted a small backpack or sling bag and at a reasonable price. This bag has proven to be "almost" the perfect solution. I will start with the one negative I have. The normal/small says it will carry two 3600 tackle boxes and it will... but its tight. There is not a lot of room left over to store anything else. Everything else you want to carry inside like soft plastics, extra spool of line, keys, wallet, cell... all get squished in the other pockets and accessing them becomes a bit of a pain. In the long run I might pair down to single 3600 and single 3500 just to free up some space. The positive! I like the choice of backpack or sling style - just keep in mind you have to lengthen the straps when converting to sling. It is well balanced, and straps can easily be adjusted. Material quality and zipper quality seem high. Water bottle holder is great and can adjust for smaller or larger bottles. I have not needed to use the rod carrier yet. The biggest selling point is the number of ways you can hook items to the outside of this bag. There are so many D-rings and loops on this bag you can ultimately carry a lot with some carabiners and some imagination.

I'm over 70 and struggle to carry items while stream/river fishing. My son told me to get one of these. It's perfect for my type of fishing. It has plenty of room for a bunch of lures. Lots of pockets for hook removal tools, etc. The straps are easily adjustable and the item allows me to keep my hands free while negotiating terrain associated with my type of fishing. Before the backpack, I had to carry my rod in one hand and a small tackle box in the other hand. After one particularly nasty fall, my son helped me get this item. I love it. Great product...great value.

Ended up having to buy smaller tackle boxes, the bag was smaller than I thought. One of the front pockets is hard to get into, the openings are pretty small. Otherwise, it’s a really good bag and you can attach a bunch of stuff to the outside.

I got the larger bag, and it’s perfect for mobile fishing. I do a combination of bass, trout, and catfish fishing - all the leaders, lures, weights, and bait fit well with the organizer I bought separately. I will be able to do saltwater and freshwater fishing. The telescopic rod fits perfectly as well. I did however have to modify the straps. I don’t understand why they make the so long even after adjustment. But it was a quick 5 minute adjustment - not enough for me to deduct a star.

Most certainly a great bag for the price. It holds both of my larger tackle trays in the main compartment and my baits and extra line in the front pockets. Even has a side cup holder for water bottles or what not. I would definitely recommend

Haven’t used it yet I just filled it up with everything in my big tackle box and it feels very comfortable. I got the larger one along with two 3700 tackle boxes. I was able to fit everything and keep it organized. I still have enough room for a drink and snacks. I fish off of a pier a lot and it was getting hard to make the walk carrying two poles, heavy tackle box, bait bag, hoop landing net, and snacks. This back pack will make it so much easier. I was able to hang my hoop landing net from the big center buckle. Not sure about the pole holder since my poles are 8ft and 9ft. I will agree with everyone else about the straps being too long. I simply cut the stitching and looped the straps back through a couple of times to shorten them. This makes it harder to adjust but I’m the only one using the back pack so it doesn’t really matter. The middle compartment zipper doesn’t open very much, this would of been nice if it opened all the way like the main compartment. Not a big deal though. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

I purchased the smaller, cheaper version and it's got plenty of compartments and space to store a lot in/on this thing. Already got my telescopic Pole in the correct place and it feels great and one thing I found cool is the shoulder straps have a zipper down the middle so you can carry it like that or zip it up and carry as a sling bag.
