I bought this over a year ago, and I’m still using a lot of the items from the kit. It’s honestly been one of the best bang-for-your-buck purchases I’ve made when it comes to fishing. The container it comes in is top-notch very well-built and durable. It’s a little on the heavier side, but that’s expected considering how much gear you get. Definitely not a complaint, just something to note. The hooks are sharp, and I haven’t had a single one break on me yet. Everything feels solid, well-made, and reliable. First I’d like to state that this product comes in a nice compact container. It has a gasket to prevent moisture from entering and degrading the supplies. The hooks/ weights are all very nice and are a value for the money. They perform well and have what appears to be durable material. Over all I recommend these for your fishing needs. There a good variety and some useful sized hooks and weights. I would say that this kit is more of a panfish & potentially a large mouth bass kit. It would be a bit undersized for catfishing or any larger targeted species.

I actually bought this just for the water proof case but ended up using a lot of what was inside especially the hooks and sinker but also some of the stuff I would never use like the blue clip. I wasn't even sure if I used it correctly (I probably did not) but because of that I actually caught 2 needle fish back to back. This is tremendous value and I would highly recommend. I have caught 2 feet long needle fish with the second largest hook in this and they work really well and are really sharp. The seperate compartments are ideal for keeping things from mixing (which is a problem I had with all previous boxes). The only complaint is the ease of the closing clip which is a bit finicky but nothing too complicated. Just in the rush of fishing, it can take a second look to get the latch to close. Other than that, it is perfect.

Was really looking forward to this kit, but it fell short for the price. The box is really cool but bulkier than I expected. The swivels are pretty nice, the weights are fine, but the hooks are a real let down. Quality of the jig hooks is very poor and the silver ‘bait hooks’ are so thin you can just bend them with your fingers. For the price I expected better quality. Will be returning.

Ok so I fly fish. I’m not new to fishing but I’m trying to get into bait and spin fishing because it’s a little easier to just go and do. Before anyone rages, I said it easier to just say “ima go fish” and just go do it. Fly fishing takes some more concentrated effort. Anyways… this really is an amazing kit. So many rig options with all the different weights, hooks, etc. Food variety of drop shots, free rig weights, offset hooks, Texas and Carolina rig weights, there are even some beads. This would cost well over $100 to buy individually without a case. This comes with a case and everything separated and organized. No labels as to what is what and how it’s used but you can easily find that stuff online. Only problem I had was opening it up for the first time. The clasps holding the plastic covering the compartments don’t seem to work well. I spent the first 15 minutes separating things before I could look at what I had. I have already utilized the gear and very pleased. Cheers!
