  • 3 Flats in 500 miles. TERRIBLE tire!
The WORST tire I’ve ever run on any of my bikes. I change at least 8 tires per year on my bikes. I have at least 3 bikes at any given time and have a shop with lifts, NoMar pro tire machine, balancer, full shop tire repair equipment and just about every tool ever made for wrenching on bikes. Most tires are just as good as another. Until I installed this pile. I got the first flat immediately and didn’t think anything of it. It happens, and I wasn’t too concerned. I plugged it and rode it to my shop. I confirmed my tire pressure after completing a full repair at my shop. Flat number 2 happened a few days later. Neither of these flats had any foreign object in the tire to remove. Just riding on gravel like I do almost everyday, on the same roads. I again plugged the tire and rode to my shop where I completed a proper inspection and repair. The very next day, I got ANOTHER flat. These were 3 different punctures with no object stuck in the tire. These roads are all roads I’ve ridden before on this bike with no problems. I’ve ridden these roads since then with this bike and another bike. Both with non-Pirelli tires, and zero problems. I contacted Pirelli, who took a month to respond, then took nearly another month to decide not to warranty the tire. You’ve been warned. I’ve run other Pirelli tires on street bikes with no problems. Something is wrong with this tire. Don’t get stuck somewhere with this terrible tire when it will get a puncture for sure. ... show more
