  • Great product works as expected
This nailgun works as expected and does everything I needed it to do. Easily adjustable to nail through soft mdf style trim or denser hardwoods Great ergonomics and easy to use Little on the heavier side and wish they would work on the ramp up time as some other brands have figured out but is amazing for the price I got mine at about $75 refurbed where as some of the other brands can be upwards of $300 Casein point: I’m a Makita guy so I purchased the Makita 16 gauge straight nailer for about $329 plus tax. Turned out to be unhappy with the product and ultimately ended up returning it. Then I purchased this Ryobi along with the 23 gauge pin nailer and a 4.0 battery + charger for roughly $260. If that’s not a deal I don’t know what is ... show more

  • Another great Ryobi 18v tool
Great price vs box stores. It might seem to be on the heavy side but aren't they (18v vs pneumatic)) all. This angled (vs straight) nailer allows you to get into tight spots so if you only have one nailer, I would recommend this angle nailer vs the straight nailer. No problem with nail depth once you do some test runs as suggested by the manual. You do have to be careful on loading the supplied brads as it is rather easy to put them in inverted (heads facing down vs correct upward) and then you will fight to get the jammed one out; otherwise I didn't experience any jamming issues. Recently purchased this with the 18g straight Ryobi brad nailer and my projects now go so much faster; shoulda got them years ago! ... show more

  • Super nail gun
I now have this finish nailer, the 21 degree framing nailer and the 18 gauge brad nailer. This Air Strike mechanism on these Ryobi tools is fantastic! These work super good. I use mainly 4 amp hour batteries in all my Ryobi tools and battery life is great. This nailer like the others is a great tool. I recommend them and would buy one again. ... show more

  • Not bad. Not really impressive.
It gets the job done. But it seems to lack power to me. Sometimes fails to sink nails in denser wood. And doesn’t recuperate very fast. And it’s heavy. Which I expected being a battery nailer. But if it’s gonna be heavy I expect it to really perform. Next time I’d probably get a dewalt or Milwaukee. I do have the 18 gauge as well from Ryobi and love it. It has been a super solid work horse. But going up from there is probably recommend upgrading to a higher end name brand. ... show more

  • it is an amazinging well designed tool with excellent capabilities & no downsides
Although not a carpenter or contractor, as a home owner I've aspired a nail gun for home repair/ addition projects, but have been reluctant to obtain a loud / intimidating air gun with its required cumbersome/ inconvient air supply setup equipment. This specific latest model 15 gauge unit was a delightful surprise in that I fully expected some negative feature outcome upon purchase. To the contrary,it is an amazinging well designed tool with excellent capabilities & no downsides. Comfortable to handle , incredibly user friendly with no safety concerns , works to perfection with every 15 gauge nail size ( from the company specified by many reviewers) & amazingly quiet compared to conventional air guns. Great solidly made tool. Love it! ... show more

  • Easy to use and packs a punch!
Bought this to put up baseboard and chair rail trim. Worked great and made the job super easy. My adult son loved it and had to borrow it as soon as we were done!

  • Excellent, finishing nailer
Much much better than Dewalt. And much cheaper. I threw my Dewalt right in the garbage once I bought this. What a nice finishing nailer, very smooth, no problems at all. I use it daily

  • My new favorite toy!
I love this nail gun- I’ve used it on multiple projects already and it’s so easy to use! I can see how the 18 gauge would be nice for the smaller nail holes but I wanted my projects to be sturdy. It’s heavy but not like some others like Milwaukee brand which is about twice the weight. It did jam badly with DeWalt nails, not sure why as they are the same specifications. These amazon nails work like a charm- not 1 jammed!
