This is a nifty little tool for crafters. I did think it was an electrical rotary blade - so it is not. but actually is probably better that way as it's likely safer. It's essentially a crafting pizza cuter It comes with 5 additional replacement blades - and a designated case to hold them in until you need them - which is awesome, super convenient so you don't have to hunt for replacement blades right away, and also a great value. The blade is very sharp and works great with thinner papers or fabrics - I did have some trouble cutting through a thicker material like a cardboard box - which took a few passes over to cut through. It had an easy to use safety mechanism, which is a quick switch you press to one side or the other to lock/unlock. Once released you can press the black handle in, and it with let the blade pop down past the safety - and you can start pressing into, and cutting whatever you need. Because it is a manual rotary blade, you will need to apply a bit of pressure to whatever you're cutting, and will want to make sure you are cutting on a surface you don't mind getting scuffs, cuts, or marks on it from the blade.

After using this, the construction does not allow proper tightening since it does not have an additional washer and the metal piece bends and doesn’t keep the tension. On the plus side, the large tightener is much easier to put together than fiddling with the small screw head on other models.
