The pen is pretty small and squat. It’s only 5 inches long capped, 5 7/8 open with the cap on its other end. It feels a little inelegant to hold. The ink payout when drawing, however is very satisfying. It’s immediately thick and soaking ink from the nib. However it’s extremely smudgey. I’m left handed and there is no way I could use this for writing. I tried to use it to make a grid for something and it made the edges of my ruler very sticky with ink which got all over my fingers. If you let it set for a few hours it will be *slightly* less prone to running or smudging but this is not a pen to use when you need to keep a clean page. I might use it on a gouache painting when it’s fully dried if I need to mark a line. It is very smooth but for every day writing or doodling this is a no from me. ... show more
