I personally love super fine line pens. These are wonderful! At first, they did skip a little if I wrote at an angle. That stopped after the second use. I think there must be some protective coating that has to wear off or something. I have some friends who didn't care for these because of the super fine point. If you prefer something 0.7 mm or larger, these pens are not for you. I, however, love them. They are great for writing in small print or when you don't want ink bleeding through to the back of a page. The only reason I did not give this specific product 5 stars is that the green and purple pens are not vibrant colors. This is a great product that I first discovered while in Japan. Unfortunately the product ordered and what was received were different. The sticker on the outside read what was ordered, 04 for 0.4mm pens, but the product itself was much thinner, the 03 or 0.3mm gel pens. Even upon requesting a replacement, the replacement order has the same exact problem, sticker on the outside list 04 but whats inside is 03. Just a very disappointing purchase overall since the 03 are a little too thin for what I usually use this product for. ... show more

I really wanted to LOVE these pens. They are good. But not awesome. Maybe it's because they have such a super-fine point...but sometimes they feel a bit scratchy when I write with them. I hold my pens at an angle when I write. These seem to write better/smoother when you hold them at less of an angle. Not necessarily straight up and down, but pretty close. Maybe I just need to get more familiar with them. But that's my first impression after writing with them for about three weeks. ... show more

These pens are so fine point that the end is sharp and rips the paper! I use triplicate and need to press a little bit hard to go through the papers but when I do, the paper rips. I have to hold pen vertically, not at an angle as you normally would when writing. I don't recommend for using if you have to press down. If you want so fine that you can hardly see it, this is the pen for you. ... show more

I’ve tried black, blue and red ink of this pen and it love them. The green ink, for some reason, doesn’t write steady shade of green. Sometimes the green ink gets darker and that doesn’t seem consistent with other colors of this pen. Other than that, Juice Up 04 is one of my favorite pens.

This is a good bulk purchase considering that on other stationary sites you usually have to pay for shipping (which costs way more than the actual cost of the pens themselves). Despite this, I found that the ink of these pens doesn't flow very smoothly and will skip. I've purchased these same 0.3 Juice up pens from Asia/Japanese bookstores before (and absolutely loved them) and didn't run into this problem before. These are one of my absolute favourite pens. The first one I bought lasted an entire year of almost daily use, and didn't stop writing until it completely ran out of ink. But I should have bought new ones either directly from Pilot, or from Jetpens. The set I got from this seller started skipping immediately and have been giving me ongoing problems since I bought them. I guess that's what I get for trying to get them cheap. ... show more
