These pens came packaged in the bucket that are in the pictures. Came packaged with other items and came a day early (Kudos!) Pros: These are the best pens in the world. I write every day and they fit in my hands and write really well. You will notice once the pen starts to run out of ink. For me one pen will last around 3 months worth of every day writing. Cons: The only thing “wrong” with the pen is the ink when it comes into contact with water. It bleeds on the paper a lot. Not marking it down for that. Overall as I have stated above that these are the best pens in the world. You can find them in almost every store with a stationary section. I love these pens. I am a nurse and NP student, and along with that comes a certified pen snob. It writes so effortlessly and just glides across the paper because of the 1.0mm point.     • Gel pens can prevent check fraud

I bought gel pens to write checks. News media has advised that there is a lot of check fraud occurring lately. Thieves have stolen checks written in ink and washed them using acetone solution which is able to completely wash out the written name of the payee and the amount of the check. They write in a different payee and amount and this allows them to commit check fraud. One man reported that his mailed check was stolen, washed and his amount was changed from $70.00 to $7,000 and the thieves were able to steal this amount from his account. Checks written in gel pen cannot be washed. If the thief attempts to do this the ink will just run and smear, making the writing illegible. Mail carriers have been robbed of mail and mailboxes now have small slots which prevent thieves from fishing down those old drop-down doors and fishing out the mail. Washing checks has become the newest fraud scheme. These gel pens are a great safety purchase and will definitely buy them again ... show more
