Bought this product as my first at home reformer. I am enrolled in a teacher training program and wanted something simple as a starting point to build on my self-practice. The machine offers all basic necessities of a reformer to practice individual exercises. Length and Width are smaller than what you may be used to at a studio. It takes a few times to get used to if you normally practice at a pilates studio. My husband is around 5'8", 230lbs and does not have an issue fitting, although it takes some adjustment to get settled (again, comparing to a studio piece of equipment). Machine seems sturdy and it is comfortable to move around. However, since it is on the small side, it is hard to move in a faster flow. The "springs" are resistance cords, and they are slightly different in weight. It took some tries, but I have figured out which are heavier/lighter and found a way to equate this to traditional balanced body spring sizes. We have not folded it back up. It does not look complicated although I wouldn't do this on a daily basis. Moreso seems convenient if you need to stow it away on occasion. If you're looking for something that you can "hide" after every use, I'd suggest a machine that is on the floor and can be pushed under a bed. I expect this will do well for me for 6-9 months. With frequent use I am concerned about it holding up after that. This works for me since I intend to purchase a balanced body machine once I have completed my certification. Overall, great for a beginner or someone looking to do simple movements from home.

It arrived broken

After a long journey of getting this delivered to me (callbox issues), I finally was able to unpack this machine. This is my first at-home pilates machine and I took a chance on a mid-range product even without reviews. First of all, it was damaged during delivery. The customer service rep was quick to respond, gave me a discounted refund and supplied a replacement part after we decided I could replace the part (the carriage back/bed had some rips.) Turns out one of the screws could not be undone and thus I could not replace the part. I asked to return the machine, as several parts were dented/missing. They refunded me 100% and told me to keep the machine, which is very generous and part of why this reviews is 3 stars. I would rate this machine 2 stars out of 5. First of all, I am 5'2" and anyone taller than that will have issues using this machine. It is quite short. The attachments for the pull system are very, very weak and poorly designed - I am afraid it will eventually break and bend with use. There's no way to make the attachments sturdier, so sadly I will have to find a new machine eventually. The shoulder rest pads slip into holes in the carriage bed, but cannot be attached in any way. Which means they pop out pretty much anytime I pull the handles off of them. They are also positioned quite far apart - a wider body might find the position okay, but the rests hit the tops of the outside of my shoulders, so it is not comfortable or properly supported. The layout of the bottom board is odd and not atypical of a normal pilates machine. You can add stoppers into the track, but they did not supply me with any of the bolts needed to do so. The track is okay, but it's a little wobbly. To adjust the handle/cord length, you need to unfasten a clamp underneath the carriage bed, so it's fairly difficult to do so. Folding the machine up involves removing the shoulder pads, unfastening the pull system bars, pulling out the 4 pins that lock the legs in place and then awkwardly folding one leg up, sitting the machine upright and folding up the other leg before it's full folded. You then pin the machine in place through different holes in the legs. Also, the straps then have to be set atop the machine, as they have nowhere to go? Very bizarre and needs a lot of rethinking! Overall, it's not bad, but needs to be done with care. There are small wheels to help move it around, thankfully, as it's 75lbs (not for anyone with an injury!) I doubt I'll keep this machine even with the refund, mostly due to the poor overall functionality and discomfort caused by the placement of certain parts. I appreciate the assistance from the customer service rep - but also, please don't ask me to have "man of the house" to try and unscrew something. I am perfectly capable and, yes, I have my own tools and everything.

This is a really good reformer for doing pilates at home and doesn’t take up too much space when not in use. Already seeing results with my fitness journey. Instruction manual was a little confusing for assembly but overall really glad with my purchase

I think if the user weighs less than 125 lbs and is not very tall, this would work great. Ours arrived damaged, but was usable. Not sturdy enough for me. Returned it. They should've issued a refund by now but I don't see the refund yet.
