It work much better for me if the bands were shorter. I am rather short and using the bands as they are intended is impossible for me. I have to roll them around the bar then the bar is harder to hold on to.

It would be a perfect setup if it had resistance. The tubes are the perfect size, everything should work except the resistance bands have no RESISTANCE! I tried the 50, nothing, attached the 40 with the 50, a little resistance on the shoulder press however none on the way back. The tubes are just stretch bands.

I am reviewing B0GFNLDJ64 "Pilates Bar Kit with Resistance Bands – Adjustable Home Gym Workout Equipment for Women & Men – Portable Pilates Equipment for Squats, Yoga & Full Body Toning". This exercise set is easy to set up, and then easy to put away and store when needed. The long bar screws together, the bands can be wrapped up, and the other pieces are small enough to fit neatly into the included bag. I specifically ordered this kit because it comes with a door anchor. That really increases the variety of moves you can do with the bands. I could not find this in the instructions, but generally, you're supposed to put the anchor on the "inside" of the door, then you do your workout on the "outside", either facing the door or facing away from it, depending on the exercise. It looks like that's what their picture shows, but they should spell it out in my opinion, because what if for some reason theirs is different? I've been using it this way and it feels stable, but do your own research or ask the company if you're concerned. I like the different colors they offer and love the idea of color coding the resistance levels. I ordered the pink, and wish there was a bit more contrast between the color of the levels. The 30lb bands are clearly the lightest, but it is really hard to see a difference between the 40 and 50, and I always get 100% on those "color sensitivity" tests, so people with less color acuity might have a harder time. Fortunately, they are also labelled on one end, but would be nice if the color shading was more distinct. Still better than just random colors with no pattern though!! The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is value -- currently priced at $40 which seems a bit high to me. Still recommended.

The resistance bands gives a good range of tension, and the bar feels sturdy and comfortable to hold during exercises. It is easy to switch between different workouts for arms, legs, core, and full body training.
