Amazing pen. I have bought 3 different rechargeable vacuum pens that have been very disappointing. The charge is okay but the strength of the vacuum decreases rapidly over time, even when fully charged. I just received this pen today and am blown away! I am using it plugged in and it is magical on level 2 single placer. No misses. Silent. I was afraid the tubing would frustrate me but I don’t even notice it. If you are on the fence, buy the black PicMondoo and bring yourself a new joy to diamond painting. It goes much faster. Also the pen is lightweight and comfortable to hold. Sparke on!!! ... show more

First day. I’ve been using this for several hours today. It took me a minute to turn it on. After holding down the button as instructed, you still have to push the button at least once more to choose the suction level before it turns on. It is quiet, but not silent. You can hear the motor respond to the amount of pressure used, a slight “labored” sound. Not bad. I set the suction so I could pick up a drill from an angle. That’s a nice benefit. The multi drill placers seem to work fine, although the three drill placer needs to be more head on than angled to pick up drills. The placers are easy to switch. I’m hoping that since they are removable, they will also be replaceable. The pen is comfortable for me. It’s light, ergonomic and doesn’t hurt to hold it. (Arthritis sufferer). It releases the drills easily, so take care the drill is where you want it or it may release slightly off. The plastic part of the placer isn’t as strong as I’d prefer, so moving a drill around with it makes me worry it will not last long. I switched to tweezers to make adjustments. I’m still learning to manage the hose, but it hasn’t been a big problem. Except my cats think it’s some sort of wiggly worm and try to eat it. I really like the replaceable dust filter at the end of the hose. Protects the motor. This pen has really made working on DP easier. I can place drills quickly, don’t have to clean up wax left behind. I have tried other vacuum drills. I returned them. This one is a game changer for me. It works. It’s quiet, low vibration, various suction modes, light in my hand. It’s not perfect, but I’m glad I tried it. So far I say 4 stars. We’ll see more in a month or two. Fully metal placers would be a good improvement, and I wouldn’t mind a slightly bigger pen. ... show more

For diamond painting this is the best vacuum pen I have ever used. Easy to use, space saving, works like a charm and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this if your a diamond art painter, cuts your painting time in half!!! Seriously, this vacuum painter works superior to any other I have ever tried! As an avid diamond art artist (I've done almost 150 paintings), I'm here to give you an honest review of this Picmondoo E-painter vacuum. Pros: Priced reasonably and fast shipping. Out of the box I was missing 2 items, the charger and xxl tray. It had 2 hoses, the vacuum itself, 2 pens and a how to guide in various languages. I had a charger if needed however I've used it now for more than 4 hours and it's still on its own charge. There's an on off switch, one being more suction than the other (I didn't notice a difference myself). It grabbed the dots great, not one has fallen from the pen due to inadequate suction. It's really quiet, and as you get going you really don't hear it especially if your listening to a show on TV. There seems to be minimal vibration as I have it right on my TV tray while I'm using it. The hose, one longer than the other (I've used the smaller of the two) is a little to get use to. It almost makes it seem like your pen is top heavy. However, if you get it just right, you can make it feel better as your working on your project. Not having to constantly add wax is brilliant. I've been through every wax type I could find and geez, it still is a pain sometimes. Dots not sticking, trying to get them to stick, adding more wax, having wax ooze out cause there's too much, etc. You understand. The Cons: The only thing I could think of, is if your painting has a lot of one color, or a lot of one particular number, which some do like backgrounds, I wished this pen picked up more than one dot at a time. Do I really want to do one single at a time? No. I like using my 9 dot wax attachment. Makes it go by faster. If you don't mind one at a time, then it won't be a deal breaker for you. (I've since searched Amazon and they actually make different attachments for picking up more than one dot at a time. Will definitely try them.) In the end I am completely pleased with this vacuum. If you love doing the paintings and have done many, you'll appreciate not having to use the wax constantly. I won't give it 5 stars as mine was missing parts (Amazon made it right for me, yeah Amazon!) ... show more

Exactly what I was looking for!! I recently had surgery on my finger, which made it very hard for me to hold the diamond art pen so I decided to give this a try. It was perfect.
