Love these pens. More comfortable than the ones that come in the diamond painting sets. Also, I see a few reviews here upset that the lights don't last. They are actually rechargeable. Just pull the top of the pen off and there's a USB-A end and plug it into a USB charging source. The lights are great, too. Slide the power button one way for a blue-white light, the other direction for a warmer light. This is one of my favorite diamond art accessories.

This is the second time I have purchased these pens in a two pack. My son and I love our diamond art and we’ve been doing them for quite awhile. At first we used the pens that came with the set, until we searched on Amazon and found others. I bought and returned a few different kinds of pens, very unhappy with the ones we found and then found these. They are amazing! They are great for the price, come in cute colors and are very sturdy. They have two different lights, warm light and bright, they come with an attachable magnifier and non-slip pads and 2 wax organizers. Best thing about it is they are USB chargeable! You won’t go wrong with this purchase.

I set up one pen with a single drill tip and one with a tip for several drills. Those tips are a pretty tight fit, so I don't think users will be swapping out tips too readily. There are clip-on small magnifiers for the pens--a cute idea but I found them kind of annoying in actual use (for me). I use the single drill tip the most--I was disappointed that the light burned out very quickly, and I see no way to replace it (or the battery). So the pens were not worth it to me--spend more to get lighted ones that are easy to replace. I also didn't bother using the wrist straps. The wax is great--a little goes a long way, and I like that they are in holders, rather than just between plastic sheets. The sticky gel mats are great--VERY sticky, though. I found that an entire one gripped my diamond painting trays too strongly, so I cut off a quarter-sized piece and I use that--just enough to hold the tray to the table but still easy to pick up when I'm done with the tray. When they loose their stickiness, just rinse them in the sink with maybe just a little soap and they still like new again. My favorite part of this set!

The pen light are bright and easy to operate. However, the attachments for this product does not fit on the pen light as intended. So, I would not recommend this product to assemble a Diamond art project. I would not buy this product again.

So I just received these and I have to say I am absolutely in love with them. First there are 2 light settings one is a very super white/blue tinged LED the other is a warm white similar to a regular light bulb. Switch on side slides down towards the tip for blue/white and up towards the carry strap for warm white. Then it has the clip on magnifying glass making it even better on my eyes. Now to the rechargeable part - no it does not have batteries - You have pull straight up on the end where the carry strap goes. It will pop off and there is a USB. You plug it directly into a USB to charge. I love this. Again it does not unscrew - it pulls straight up and off. It may be easier for some people to attach the carry strap and then pull up to provide more leverage as they are on there tight. TL/DR - Yes I would recommend, and yes rechargeable via USB
