    • Great light pad just a little on the heavy side but understandable given the size

I initially was upset when I purchased this light pad(I ordered 2 of them) for both my boyfriend and myself but it wasn't because of the product itself. I was sent the wrong items(I was sent curtain rods instead). I ended up ordering the light pads right thru Artdot's website and ended up getting them and they are great except for them being a bit heavy and I felt like it could snap right in 2 when I would move it, while working in bed, to the place I set it when I was done for the day/night. But overall it is a great light pad and I moved it to a different set up where I don't have to move it everytime I am done using it so I won't have to worry about it snapping from being moved so much. ... show more

I always wanted a light table to use for my artwork, I do a lot of pen and ink drawing on very large 19x24 paper. I have a glass drafting table and didn't think I could find one that was the same size as my desk but the largest size fit my desk perfectly. I bought it as an opened item and got a great deal for my money the surface is nice and smooth and it looks great with three levels of lighting its the perfect thickness as I just applied double sided tape on my drafting table and placed this on top its a perfect fit and doesn't slip when I adjust the angle of my drawing table. If you are looking for a nice light table to do tracing of your art work this is a great option for you. I do all my work in pencil first then put a clean piece of paper over it and use ink to do the finished drawing without having anything to erase. It's a great value for the money and very sturdy with a perfect appearance as you can see in my photo. I haven't had any problems with light flicker or dimming and it really makes my office look neat and clean, very modern looking. It was perfect for my art studio makeover. My first diamond painting project was an inexpensive canvas. It had symbols that were difficult to identify. The light pad made a 100% improvement and probably saved my eyes. The lightboard is great and so helpful. The three light levels are nice. Makes it easy to see what you’re doing. It’s lightweight and small enough that I can use it at the table without taking up all the space. My only complaint is the storage case. At first the individual boxes were hard to open but now that they’ve loosened up they don’t quite stay closed. I’ve had a few unexpected spills. A+ for the lightboard. I use this product for my diamond arts, it's great for reducing the strain on my eyes from the activity. Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it has to stay plugged in the entire time. I wish it was rechargeable to make it easier to move around. All in all it's a great product for the price.

Only 4 stars because it says to remove the screen protector before use and after many tries and almost damaging the surface, there is no screen protector. I see other reviews about the connection location, yes it's not ideal but turn the board the other way and it's not a problem. I've used it several hours at a time and no over heating. Also, unless I read wrong there isn't a dimming option by holding the button, just the three options of low, medium and high. Perfect size for the bigger diamond paintings. ... show more

This light is a real eye saver for the dimond painting or to trace something. Light goes thought it to help you see all them small number and letters much easier. It has a C plug. The stand I found to be pretty useless cause I do the large dimond painting and it just falls over. But works well with the smaller ones.
