Very easy hobby to pick up, I enjoyed this a lot! Only complaint is I have no idea what to do with the finished product, it's a little too gauty to put anywhere. Maybe I'm just picky or should've picked a darker pattern where it's harder to tell it's a bunch of plastic drills. This kit came with more than enough drills for me, looking for a project to use the remaining ones. I learned pretty quickly some strategies to make it easier: 1. Don't peel off the plastic sheet right away. Only peel back as much surface as you need to work on. Cover it back up when you're not working on it to prevent dust from covering up the sticky part. 2. If the sticky parts on the edges bother you, cut strips of paper to cover them up so your arms don't keep getting stuck to it and spilling everything... 3. Find a small box to store opened pouches in so you don't have to do all of one color at a time. 4. Work row by row mostly, then color by color if there's a lot of variety in one spot. 5. Do the monotonous part first (if that's a big sky or big ground) because you will lose steam towards the end, and switching colors frequently keeps you going. 6. Make sure to take pauses and stretch whenever you're doing this for long periods of time so you don't get a kink in your neck! ... show more

I gave this 4 stars because overall it was a good diamond painting for the price. The letters were clear and the canvas was really sticky such was great. My biggest issues were with the drill quality and how it's folded. There were some drills that were tiny or damaged so it was really inconsistent. The way it's packaged is also not great. It should be rolled not folded. The folded part gets creased and doesn't hold the drills well. So you'll definitely need to seal the painting for an even finish. ... show more

This product comes with plenty of beads and wax so don't fear if you spill some. Also refill the wax in your pen frequently so the beads are easier to attach. It takes several hours to put together, but it's a great activity to do while watching TV. When you are all done it's beautiful.

I had plenty of diamonds and had no issues completing the paintings. It did come folded, but I was able to lay a heavy book on it to flatten the crease.

These really help with my anxiety and adhd. It helps calm my brain and give me something to do. I turn on a show, movie, YouTube video or a podcast. Just what I’m feeling like that day.
