True vivid black. I had to drill out the holes to mount the headlight, no hardware is included with this cover. Nice and easy install though just remove your all the stuff from old fairing and install on the new one.

I bought this expecting some imperfections, but did not expect it to not fit together. This is why I bought the combo. The outer fairing is misaligned and does not fit the inner fairing. The plastic looks of great quality but the measurements of the holes are way off. I had to drill a hole where the windshield mounts to make sure I could secure it down. Very disappointed with this quality. DO not buy this, unless your willing to put in some elbow grease to make it fit better. Paint however is great! Save your money and buy a used oem inner fairing for the same price. Bought the inner fairing to replace my weathered and cracked one. Was a horrible fit overall. Maybe the inner and outter fairing set being sold together may fit better, but this leaves larger gaps between inner and oem outer fairing. Bezel gage trim pieces would not fit correctly on this, but fit fine on the oem inner fairing. Windshield mounts are too long and I had to cut them down approx 3/16" to get a better seal between windsheild and fairings. Holes for fairing air deflectors had to be drilled though the plastic, carefully using the threaded brass inserts as a guide from the backside. Only the lower 3 fittings of the deflector lined up while the top was 1/2" off. Again I only bought the inner fairing, the set being sold might pair up better than this did to the oem outer fairing. ... show more
