Took a star off because I took the unopened box on a trip and they arrive broken. I was only able to use a smaller part of each coil but it lasted some. Not sure if 1-2 hours. Just wish packaging was more protected. I’ll give it another try and buy to use at home but I would not take on trips.

    • only thing that seemed to work
Certain times of the year in Phoenix the mosquitos are a real PITA. Ive tried the Citronella candles, torches, lavender etc etc. These coils don't smell great at all but they are the only thing that seems to run them off. It doesn't kill anything , just seems to make them go away. About a 6-10 radius bubble for your area. Put them under the table too so your legs and feet don't get bit. Once you leave the bubble zone your on the mosquito menu again. Take these camping too, a life saver. ... show more

    • Limited mosquito repelling power
These coils are relatively cheap and somewhat effective at keeping mosquitoes at bay. It is like an incense burner, some people can be really put off by the smoke, others don’t really mind. Anecdotally, I think thermocells keep the mosquitoes at bay more effectively.

    • Works Great
PiC works great, these do not arrive broken which is important. As advertised and shipped/ boxed with care no breakage. I have had the outdoor ones a try (thicker, last longer?)and they all arrive broken which makes them pretty useless.
