Listen, I know that standard for this instrument. It’s gained a very horrible reputation. Which needless to say it’s still carrying with flying colors. Bought these for the kids because the school music program required it. Unless you plan to teach someone to use it. I suggest wearing earplugs or even earbuds. The product worked but came in a clear plastic zip bag to tote it around in. Naturally the clumsy child dropped it and it broke. We never even made it to the point where he had to clean it. So in all fairness I can’t give the product the review it may deserve. It did work. Parents. Teachers. Please. If you are having children learn how to use these. Teach them actual songs instead of having them back goofy kids tracks doing one note repetition through the entirety of the song. Definitely will not need to buy again. But if I have to. I’ll buy another from the seller. Also. My ears haven’t recovered since the concert from a year ago…. ... show more

    • Great musical instrument, bad toy hammer.
These are just like the one my oldest daughter got for school. My two younger kids thought they needed recorders so we ordered these. Great sound, all notes are correct. The bad is they don’t work well as toy bazookas and break easily when used like a sword (my son plays hard).

I bought this for my grandson who's favorite color is red. The school no longer provides enough for all the kids so we bought this one. He is loving it and likes having a different color than the others. It looks great and works just like expected.
