    • Perfect fit!
My Tahoe temp gauge was acting up, so I purchased this thermostat. It came disassembled which not a issue. It's pretty common sense as to how to assemble it. Drained my coolant, you'll need a 3/8th hose, remove a small plastic plate on the passenger side under radiator, there is a hole about 1/2 or 3/4" ID, slide the hose in that hole and press firmly onto the drain nipple, place other end of hose in a catch can and open drain valve. This will save you a mess! Replaced the thermostat and put everything back together, filled my coolant reservoir back up, ran the motor until it reached operational temps to get any air bubbles out of system and she's working perfectly! However, IF this one should go out, they do sell a rebuild kit instead of buying the whole unit. Cheaper and really easy to disassembled and reassemble. ... show more
