This is a comprehensive kit that includes pretty much anything you would need to make a photo shoot more professional and legitimate. Putting everything together for use is simple and straightforward with multiple stands and mounts creating a very versatile workspace. That being said, once you extend the stands and have the covers open, the lights can become wind sails and literally knock over multiple times if used outdoors. Everything feels very sturdy until you start extending and spreading out everything. We used this at a small party as a mock Photo Booth, and it did work out well, with the exception of the lights falling over several times when even a slight breeze came by. To be fair, we probably should have setup a little differently, but the results were good overall. As stated by others; this is a great setup for the photog who is just starting out and wants to take the next step to up their game.

TL;DR It's cheap cost wise and quality wise, but it's good for a beginner. Let me just address the poor quality light kit in the room; this is a low quality light kit. Now that I'm over that, let me address the awesomeness of this kit. This has SO many lighting options so let me just list the contents and why they're useful: 5x Light Stands Very light weight but even lights gotta stand. 2x Soft Light Boxes, Rectangular 1x Soft Box, Circular You can't do portrait shots without soft boxes and I like to use them for product shots too. 2x 33 inch silver reflective umbrellas 1x 33 inch gold reflective umbrella Silver for a crisp, edgy look (good for artistic portraits with purposeful shadows) Gold for a warmer look (good for soft wedding portraits) 2x 33 inch white shoot through umbrellas Broadens and softens the light source, creating a pleasing soft light without the harshness of a flash. 1x 2 foot five in one reflector Made for balancing a light source with its own light, focusing light in a specific area, and adding a soft diffused light. It can be used as shoot through, silver, white, gold, and black. 1x Backdrop Frame, 10 foot wide by 7 foot high VERY droopy crossbar, backdrops are a necessity for photo shoots (I'm replacing the crossbar with a rigid bar) 3x 75w CFL bulbs Use these for everything except soft boxes 2x 150w tunable bulbs Used for the soft boxes so it would have been nice to have three of them. 3x Backdrops (White, Black, Green) The white and black are for photography, the green is for chroma key (removing the background and replacing it with your own image/video). The backdrops are 7 feet by 5 feet and remind me of sheets. 6x Horrible, terrible, cheap, garbage backdrop clamps Don't worry about the ends of the clamps popping off, don't bother trying to put them back on since they'll just pop off again. Overall this is a fantastic light kit for a beginner photographer/videographer but nothing in this kit is even remotely approaching something a professional would use; a "cheap" good light stand is about fifty bucks so...
